Description

The pants are made of DuraCanvas fabric, therefore they are robust, yet lightweight for their advanced design. They feature seat and knee reinforcement, additionally knees have inner pockets for added protection of our Neoprene Low Profile Protection Pads Inserts. The pants feature elevated midriff in the back with additional kidney-protection panel. There is a total of eight pockets. The thigh pockets are lined with mesh for air circulation with open pockets. Waistband and leg cuffs are elastic drawstring adjustable. Suspenders can be buttoned to the pants. The fabric can be water-proofed with a special wax. ACCESSORIES AND BELT SHOWN IN PICTURE NOT INCLUDED

almost perfect but I have one question why? why a velcro fly? velcro is a big no no in any outdoor activity at any time. velcro makes to much noise and gets loaded up with junk to easily and stops working. they should have done a button or even a double button design.

I bought these as both work and hiking pants. They seem to fit very well into both roles. The fabric is just stretchy enough to hike and climb in, and adding a set of knee inserts makes them really comfortable for getting down on the shop floor. Hiking through brush, the material doesn't seem to snag on anything at all, which is a plus. The pockets are really well thought out, roomy, and very practical. I just got back from a 9 day trip to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota (BWCA). These are the only pants I brought to wear the entire trip and they did not let me down. We saw all types of different weather while on our fishing trip from 50 degrees to 96 degrees, full sun and thunderstorms. They are comfortable and very durable, after sitting in the sun all day and hiking many portages, I can not find one thing wrong with my pants. No snags, tears, rips nothing. They have a small amount of stretch and seem to stay very clean after kneeling in the dirt. Overall, I would say these are the best pants for outdoors and bushcraft I have ever owned, even after owning several pairs of fjallraven pants. Awesome job Helikon-Tex! ... show more

These pants are in a whole new level. Amazing fit and feel. I love the high back that helps me keep my secret parts a secret no matter how I move around. I wear 30" length usually and the closest I could get is 32". with the draw cord in the bottom of the legs it works out just fine, though. I will order more of these in the future! ... show more

Wanted some 'technical' pants but was put off by the cost of the Norwegian brand. Ordered a pair, liked them and ordered another different colour. Fit is spot on, material is comfortable but need more time to assess durability (suspect it'll be fine), like all the pockets especially the supposed flashlight inner pouch that fits my phone perfectly so it doesn't bounce around or turn sidewise, lots of belt loops and I appreciate the raised padded back band. Good pants. Second verse same as the first... Arrived before promised exactly as ordered. With a little experience as well as mentioned above, really like the velcro closure at the waist and the adjustable shock-cord as the cuffs. The pants are designed for rugged wear through rough terrain, so you'd expect a stiff fabric. Not so. These pants are light, soft, and move with me. Very comfortable, and breathable. They fit as advertised to size. I'm looking to buy another pair in a different color. The only way to improve these pants would be to offer them in odd sizes, i.e. I actually fit 33 x 31 rather than 34 x 32. Still, I highly recommend purchasing. ... show more

Measurements were wrong , ordered 32 waist 34 long , which is the size that fits me in Levi's . I gave them to my 13 year old grandson , they fit him perfectly. The size that fits him is 29 waist 32 inseam in everything he has , suggest that anyone wanting these pants be prepared to send them back to get considerable larger than sold as or have a 13 year old to give them to . ... show more
