Durable, no crushing and just perfect! Need to watch the hinge as it will work it's way out after a while. A wee pinch with a vice grips at the free end of the hinge will sort it.

So far these are great. Metal teeth are durable, unlike plastic which gets brittle and breaks. Clip closure feels much stronger than those on plastic clips as well. A novel upgrade to your hair arsenal. Large quantity made great gifts for friends.
