Tank armor might be a little too much. Rugged, might a better word, but this is a very heavy duty and bulky case. It really does add noticeable weight and bulkiness, especially if you have a lot of keys on your ring. For someone like myself, who does alot of outdoor & garage work, I have gone through my share of key fobs. That was when they were $50-$100 a pop. The replacement cost for the key fob for my new vehicle is about $400. This cover gives me alot of self assurance that I won't damage it by lack of protection. Well worth the money. Was worried the buttons might be a pain to use but they are not! Easy to get on and off your fob. Prefect fit! Looks great, love the feel of it! Good quality! Doesn't hinder functionality of the fob at all!

This is tough! You could likely run over your key fob and it would still be okay. At the same time, it makes your fob much larger and heavier. Installation was easy and they even include extra screws in case you lose them. The keyring is way to wide for any key to fit onto it, so you will still need an old fashioned ring - I suppose the included ring is to serve more as a carabiner - you can clip your keys to a beltloop, etc. One thing that really struck me with this cover is that it comes in a very handsome presentation box, so this would be great for gifting. ... show more
