The delivery was fast and the hanger is exactly as described. I had a metal pole plant hanger, the kind you stomp or hammer into the ground. The two heavy hanging plants I had on it fell over pulling the pole out of the ground. I used a post hole digger and set a treated 4x4 8' two feet into the ground and cemented it in place. I put one hanger on each side of the 4x4 and it would take a truck to knock either the pole or the plants down now with these hangers holding them. They are long enough that if you have a privacy fence (wood) you can attach these hangers (suggest on the posts) and they are long enough to hang a good sized hanging plant without hitting the fence.
