Great coverage for both safety & style. I normally wear over-sized sunglasses so when I became a heavy equipment operator, I went to work finding Z87 safety rated sunglasses that didn't look like the typical shades I see everywhere. I came across these & gave them a try. Not only do they fit the bill of being over-sized, they get a lot of compliments. They are made of plastic; arms, lenses, & nose piece. They are all one piece too which is great because I have waist length hair that dosen't like nose pieces that aren't part of the frame. They catch my hair & pull it. Ladies, I know you know! My only real complaint about these is they aren't as dark as I'd like. They are black but not dark black. Fans of true black, you know the struggle! I've often come across shades that have a tint to them but are still dark & while these are pretty dark, they are lighter than my day to day sunglasses. They're definitely AWESOME @ keeping dust & debris pretty well out of my eyes when I'm grinding asphalt so I'm grateful for that. I wash them with Dawn dish soap & water or when traveling for work, I just use hotel soap & water. They come clean easily. They are customizable BUT.... BUUUUUUTTTTTT!!!! If you customize the Z87 glasses, THEY ARE NO LONGER SAFETY RATED! Just be aware of that in case OSHA comes by, and in case you are wearing safety glasses in hopes that they actually protect your eyes. Those are kind of hard to replace ;) ... show more
