I wear these to work every week. I had a blue pair just like them in size med that seemed to fit perfect, and a pair of the jogger style size med that fit ok, but were quite baggy (and the drawstring is fake and doesn't pull them tight). So I ordered the medium black pant and was surprised how loose they were in the waist compared to my blue pair. I also ordered the small and though they fit my waist, I just didn't like how skin tight they were on my legs and butt, that's not the look I'm going for at work at the hospital! I am 5'5" slim waist with bigger hips/thick thighs, typically a size 27 or 28 in jeans. I ended up keeping the medium instead of small and just try to pull the drawstring tighter, but they still fit looser than my older blue pair. I have had the blue pair for over 5 years and wash and dry them weekly and they still look great--no fading, no pilling or thinning. I will continue to buy heart and souls! ... show more

These are insanely comfortable & flattering. These aren't just for the medical field. If you need good comfy pants these are it. Along with being light, quick dry, loose, & not hot. You can do a lot in these. I've been recovering from heavy orthopedic surgeries for my hips & feet. I needed something loose & easy to get on/off. A nurse recommended these to me. Love them. I don't think I ever want to go back to normal pants. Normally I wear a small but got these in a medium for more looseness. Not loose enough they fall off but can tighten them with the draw string if need be. For length I'm 5'3 & pants are about an inch to long for me (touch the ground with a small amount of drag).
