The fabric feels like it's trying to stick to the mat with basic movements like shrimping. After only a few sessions the stitching for the velcro was ripping. At first I thought these were good shorts. After my third BJJ practice with them they ripped. Really disappointed I spent money on something that didn’t even hold up for a week.

I was having trouble with other shorts that my gym sold with the durability of these items. No longer do I have these issues. Make sure you get three pair so you’ll always have a clean pair to roll in. To be fair, I roll 4hrs for 4days a week. Match your number to the hours you spend on the mats.

These are a heavy duty pair of shorts. I just needed them for the gym/crossfit. I have a size 36 waist and the XL fits perfect - I think these would fit a 35 or 37 just as well since the waste band can accommodate a size range. They are comfortable in the seat and loose in the legs. Now, they are heavy material so they don't wear light...these are meant to take heavy use and last. I am very satisfied. ... show more

Really good for Muay Thai. You don't get the full mobility of Muay Thai shorts but its pretty darn close and you don't have to walk around in daisy dukes.

This is my second pair of these shorts after purchasing the grey already. The shorts are comfortable and as importantly don't restrict movement at all. I personally like the lack of flashy graphics and excessive branding and slogans, which is probably why I now own two pairs of these.

Love these shorts! Fit true to size. Mine were a little tight in the waist, however I'm in-between sizes and went smaller as a weight loss goal. The look and feel right where I wanted. They seem to be a heavier weeve than some of my other brands, but still just as breathable. Construction is heavy duty and no doubt durable. As a religious bjj practitioner, I use Hayabusa Hexagon fight shorts every week. I have several other pairs of other brands but I quickly replaced my favorite one with this fight shorts.
