  • Big but lacking
Size: 1 x 1 x 1
It is really big but even with range tips big holes punch into the fabric not "move aside " like the product description states. As such won't last that long.

  • Good fit for my 48" foam target
Size: 48"
I have a 48" foam target that I bought about a year ago. The original cover apparently had enough of the wind and weather and disintegrated. This cover was a great fit to replace it. I laid the cover face down on the grass, put the foam on top, and cinched the two strings around it neatly.

  • Pricey but nice product (stand plus foam target), but I wish Amazon had less deceptive marketing for it
Here's the review I recently wrote about the foam target which is meant to be used with this stand: "I ordered this "Bear Archery Foam Target, 36-inch" a few days ago and received it today. I was very disappointed that the wheeled stand was not included. Given its prominence in the large illustration of the product, one would think (and I did) that for the price of $214.38 (originally $285.00) you would get more than a round foam target. I mean, really -- two hundred and fourteen bucks for a round piece of foam with a paper bullseye attached to it? Seems like a lot to me. And yes, I know that there is a "Frequently bought together" section a bit further down the page showing the target and the stand as a separate item, for a joint price of $293.57. But that section is also kind of ridiculous because the small illustration of the round foam target INCLUDES THE STAND, and then the stand alone is pictured directly to the right of that illustration. So one would think that when you buy both things together, you actually should get TWO stands, plus the round foam target. Not cool, Amazon." Looking at the image of the foam target on the stand, I think it would take less than five minutes in Photoshop to remove the stand from the image, and leave consumers with a much more accurate idea of what they are actually going to get when they order this overpriced item. Heck, I'd be happy to do it myself for them, free of charge! ... show more

  • Well-designed and effective target stand
Size: 34.3 x 22.8 x 5.1
This is a well-designed and effective target stand. It seems designed for round targets, as shown in the product photo, though as others have noted it will work, or can be adapted to work, with other target shapes. I doubt many archers would be flummoxed making such minor modifications. Below are photos that may clarify how the stand works. Target holder brackets on the frame legs hold the target at the bottom (these seem designed for a maximum target thickness of 6 inches, which is pretty standard). An adjustment tube fits through a sleeve welded to the top crossbar, and a target holder bracket attached to this tube holds the top of the target. The adjustment tube is secured in desired position by tightening a bolt that terminates in a plastic knob, so no tools are required for changing targets or adjusting tension. The sleeve welding on my stand appears robust. Others have criticized the welding, but the manufacturer may have improved it since they wrote their reviews. The stand wheels easily (wheel diameter is 8 inches), and when not tilted back for transport, the target frame rests on the legs of the stand, not the wheels, so it stays firmly in position. I use the 36 inch "Bear Archery Foam Target", Bear Archery Foam Target And no, the target is NOT included. ... show more

  • Holds my target mat AOK
Size: 34.3 x 22.8 x 5.1
I bought this for a 34" , square-shaped target butt. (It weighs about 30 pounds.) It's actually a little big for it, but it was the closest I could find, to the right size. I modified it by attaching a wood shelf, solving that problem. Assembly was quick & easy and the height adjustment is simple to use. I have been using it through this outdoor shooting season (from June to September) 3-5 days each week. I was concerned abbout thee weld, based on other people's comments, but it has held up just fine. The wheels could be bigger, so I may replaace those, next year. So, while it's not perfect, it suits my needs better than anything else I have seen. ... show more

  • Quick to put on, fine for practice, but rings too small as you move out to edges.
Size: 48"
I got these to throw on practice bales at the range. They are quick to cover on a target, made of something like coarse Tyvek paper sleeves, so not 'fabric' like woven cloth. It's waterproof, but on the other hand doesn't seal itself or 'close back up' like threads of cloth would. So using wooden arrows I can see this lasting only a few weeks depending on how good you are at the range you are shooting for the middle. The middle gold is right, by the time you hit the blue/black rings you're at a quarter of a ring off and half/3/4 of a ring off by the time you get to the white rings. Good enough for practice, but not something you want to score on. I wouldn't think that it would be hard to adjust the printing on these to get it 'right', we'll see if it's durable enough to outlast the equivalent WA plastic outdoor target in cost. ... show more
