Always skeptical of this stuff. This one was a winner. These took 30 seconds to assemble. Open box, pull out. Slide the white pegs from one side into the waiting cylinders on the other piece to form a corner and done! Attaches to washer/dryer via magnets. No tools, hardware, or instructions! Arrived in perfect condition, no smell, no scratches, very sturdy and well made— perfect size to be useful but not look like fencing. Only negative: our front loaders (2023 Samsungs) are about 2-3” apart. The gap forces these about 2” in from the left and right edges, respectively, but don’t care- keeps everything away from the very edges even more. Great value for the cost and an excellent add to our otherwise un-noteworthy laundry room. (No wicker baskets, nice paint color, or shelving here…) ... show more

It was so easy to assemble I think I almost tried to make it complicated. Just snaps in place. Helps prevent clothes from falling behind the laundry machines even when we've left big piles. It's really helped us not have to use a broom, hanger to fish or dig out items anymore. We like that it can be a barrier for one or two side by side. I was worried that it being plastic it would break but this is sturdy and the magnets are strong. Definitely worth it! ... show more

First of all I want to make it abundantly clear that I love this product and it has solved a host of annoying issues for me. I really wish they offered either sets that surround the washer and dryer separately, or an extender for between the existing sections they have now. Due to the plumbing disaster in my house, I can't stick my washer and dryer together so that they are practically touching, which is what this product needs in order to fit together. As a result I have to place the edges of this an inch or two inside the edge of my washer and dryer, which looks kind of hokey and cuts down on usable space on top. Overall, it's a great product. The magnets are small but surprisingly sturdy when you have the entire thing connected. More magnets might offer more stability. Biggest gripe is just the lack of an extension, which likely isn't a problem for most people. ... show more

I bought this Laundry Guard because I have a front loading washing machine and dryer that is in a small tiny alcove with absolutely no room to get around them, or to move them, with the only storage place in my laundry room is a 12 inch deep wire shelf that’s over my W/D that obviously doesn’t extend out to the front edge of my washing machine and dryer…AND I’m 5’2. I have a small walk through galley style laundry room thats between my garage and the rest of my house that you have to walk through every time you come in to my house through the garage and with my laundry room being so narrow, there is nowhere to store a small step ladder (and yes I said ‘ladder’ instead of step stool because even a 1 or 2 step stool isn’t enough of a boost for me to be able to reach the wire shelf 🤦♀️) in there where it would be out of the way. Nor is there really anywhere to store a step ladder anywhere that is conveniently nearby my laundry room. Because of this, I keep a lot of stuff stored on top of my W/D. But when I do try to reach the wire shelf without a step ladder and accidentally knock something off of the shelf or whatever I’m grabbing for is just out of my reach it drops into what I call “the black hole” behind my W/D it’s never to be seen again 🤦♀️. Even one of those extension grabbers cannot reach all of the way to the floor behind my W/D. I purchased the Laundry Guard not only to prevent me from knocking stuff that I store on the top of my W/D off behind them, but also to prevent anything that I knock off that wire shelf from falling behind them. The Laundry Guard fulfills one of those motivations but not the other. It is not tall enough to be able to prevent whatever I accidentally end up knocking off the wire shelf above my W/D from falling behind it (which was my #1 motivation but I digress). It is tall enough to prevent any short item being stored on top of my W/D from falling over the back of them, but it’s also not tall enough to prevent anything tall & lightweight, tall & heavy, or even something just heavy from accidentally falling off the back of the machines. The magnets do stick well to the W/D but I do worry about them scratching the tops of them. The Laundry Guard also isn’t wide enough to be able to cover a usual size W/D that are placed right next to one another with absolutely no space in between them, even with the extension piece that comes with it. So while it’s a good concept, the Laundry Guard should DEFINITELY be taller and wider than it currently is to really be able to fulfill it’s intended use. ... show more

I love these! I have LG washer and dryer in the same gray color as the photo ... and it looks like these were made for them. This laundry guard solved stopped socks and other small laundry items from falling down between the washer or dryer and the wall. These barriers have a magnet the secure them to the top of the washer or dryer, and they don't scratch up the surface. It' s a simple but effective gadget ... I don't know how I've lived w/o it.
