My husband gifted me this for our anniversary with the matching wallet. Prior to suggesting it as a gift, I researched various HP bags, read reviews and all that jazz. One person recommended/suggested that they had purchased an organizer for the purse. I purchased the same one and it fits great and helps to organize this mom's bottomless pit. I also read reviews that said the strap broke or was cheaply made. I have never used the strap because of these comments. I carry the bag like your typical soccer mom, and it works just fine. I do wish I could use the strap because with two littles, it would be easier. Overall the bag is super cute and I get tons of compliments. The pleather is good quality, the plaid is also pleather so it's sturdy, the handles have held their shape and are not "falling" like handles on other bags tend to do. My only "complaint" (and it's not that serious) the Hogwarts crest and tassel make noise with the slightest of movements. So when you are walking in a store, your bag will make quite a bit of noise. ... show more

The bag was even better than I thought it would be! I love that you can carry via handles or the longer strap across the body. It has a durable zippered pocket inside and then two more smaller open inner pockets on the other side. The coloration and house crest were done very nicely. This is such a good looking, high quality bag that most people compliment me on how it looks before they even notice that it’s HP. It’s sturdy and fits a ton of stuff. The only thing is that the little tassel makes a jingling noise when you walk, so if you don’t like that you can just take it off.
