The HARDYROAR Wood Gymnastic Rings & Straps were received in outstanding condition and very fast. The quality of the straps and the wooden rings is simply amazing! I sanded the rings a bit to stain them in a light mahogany-red color. I also gave them 1 coat of semi-gloss polyurethane. These rings are of excellent quality, offering a sturdy grip for my workouts. The only downside is the adhesive on the black tape used to wrap the wooden rings doesn't adhere as well as expected. I bought these in late August, 2022, and was thrilled to incorporate them into my workouts. I’m 5’10”, 170 lbs, lift weights regularly but wanted to do more calisthenics, so I bought the hardyroar rings because they seemed like a tough product for a good price. I don’t use these more than twice a week, if that, so you can imagine my disappointment when I first noticed fraying. Wish I thought to return them then, but held onto to them thinking it wasn’t that bad and maybe I could fix it myself, but now the frays are to the point that I’m wondering when these straps will break at their stitching, potentially leading to injury. The wood rings still feel sturdy, but now I suspect materials are cheaper and/or shortcuts were taken in the manufacturing process because I don’t think these straps can last much longer at this rate of deterioration. Can’t recommend these in good consciousness knowing what I know now. ... show more

Sturdy and smooth rings. Easy setup carabiners seem sturdy. No assist band and bag has only 1 string so cant be worn like backpack and the tape system doesn't hold but that style of tape usually doesn't and i bought aftermarket stuff but a pretty good value and cheaper than the one that came with backpack bag and assist band ... show more
