The finish wasn’t not the best according to the price. There were some crack in the bottom. Some intention on the side and back as well. The weight was under the mention range. This is definitely a natural wood bat. It's been a good many years since I've played (or had access to the equipment to play) cricket, but this one feels pretty standard. Very simple, nothing special, but it will do the job. I got this to try to broaden my kids' horizons regarding sports and for that purpose, this bat is perfect. It's a bit on the pricey side for what is basically a vaguely shaped hunk of wood, but for one based in the states like myself, the options aren't exactly plentiful.
