This is a standard Teacher's HP big size planner. The only difference from the ones I have gotten before is that the cover is not the usual laminated HP cover but more of a vinyl cover. It bends a bit more than the laminated covers. It also comes with some stickers that could be useful. However, not enough for the whole year, as usual. I love the tabs - "Teacher (tee-cher) noun. tamer of children" "This Classroom is brought to you by Coffee and Lots of deep breaths" for example. It has the usual M-F down the page with 7 columns and 7 lines per box/period. No space for weekend plans, which probably doesn't matter most of the time unless you are involved in running extra curricular activities, such as sports, where there are weekend events. In the back, there is a tab of checklists. There are 4 name pages with 43 columns across two pages and one page with just 18 columns. There are 38 name lines. I kind of dinged the planner for this. If you have 6 or 7 periods you teach, this isn't enough to use as a grade book or really any kind of tracker. I don't know if you can buy more? Also, if I were going to use this as a teacher, I might change out the plastic discs for metal, as although they feel pretty solid compared to some, the plastic do break easy. ... show more

I’m a huge planner fanatic. I have many planners for the same year, for different things etc. So, I’m very critical when it comes to planners. First off I LOVE Happy Planners. The thickness of paper is a HUGE plus for me. This planner isn’t one of their best, especially for “teachers”. It’s missing so much. It does have 2 pages of stickers that are apart of the planner, which I think is a great idea. I wish Happy Planner sold their stickers like this, so we could just have separators for stickers and organize them in a book. -School Year At A Glance -A School Schedule -Important Date List -A Calendar at the beginning of the month, for each month -Checkroom Checklist pages for attendance or grades. It only has one page for notes. I wish there were a lot more. Also there isn't a section for important numbers, emails or addresses. Pages are of course nice and thick and it is a bigger binder, it just could have so much more. I got another planner for teachers, that was a lot less and that one had so much more needed pages, the only thing was the quality since it didn't have thick pages. ... show more

I love this planner. It is perfect. I have used these brand time and time again for both my career and personal life. It helps me to stay organized. The planner is great. I am able to keep up with my lesson plans as well as the grades and keep those things organized and you keep my life together.

Great end of year gift for teacher to prep for next year has a lot of great little details hearts on the spiral binding are fun a lot of details inside as well pages are thick and durable and should last school year long

    • Great quality, but...
The media could not be loaded. Happy Planner is a huge brand, and for good reason. Their planners are well thought out, attractive, and the discs make organizing easy. So why the missing star? Because of the missing weekends, which are on the monthly sheets but not the weekly pages. This planner is designed for teachers, and teachers only work Monday through Friday, right? Well, not necessarily. A lot of teachers also coach sports, which may very well have weekend games. Also, a lot of teachers might want to include their personal plans in their teacher's planners, to avoid having two of them. I work at a public library where I do a lot of children's programming, some of it on Saturdays, so I would like to have them included. I also wish they had included some general note-taking pages. I know I can buy them separately, but a few would have been nice. There are none. My last gripe (a rather minor one) is that two of the divider pages refer to the owner of the planner needing coffee. Some of us don't drink coffee, sometimes for religious reasons, so I wish they had gone a different route there. ... show more

I am a long time fan of Happy Planners! I have been using them for the last 7 or 8 years now. This teacher designed one is well thought out. It has plenty of space and room for lesson planning as well as scheduling. The large size is perfect! This even comes with some stickers! I love that it's easy to add or remove pages. ... show more
