The media could not be loaded. 5 minutes from un-boxing and it was running. Could use a better manual to explain everything, but did fine in my 17ft pelican. Probably around 5mph on full throttle. Easy start and ran great.

    • Great setup
This is a heck of a setup in all reality. Simple setup, add oil (make sure its the proper level, dipstick NOT screwed in to check) and add gas. Primed it 5 times and started easily. i did adjust mine to run a little higher on the rpms (one screw by carb) and it runs beautifully! not sure of longevity yet but i can say, its built well! This is sure as heck not my first out board and probably wont be my last but I see MANY years of good use out of this setup. Fairly quiet for being an air cooled motor that exhausts out of the water. small lever activates the clutch for the prop and your off! No reverse but in all reality, thats just one less thing to have break so i actually appreciate the direct drive for the rigidity. Absolutely no complaints. I will be running this on a 14ft dinghy and will be posting a video to youtube in the next few months once the water thaws. The prop is aluminum. Honestly for the cash, I dont think you can go wrong. Features: Short shaft! 6hp air cooled, quite overall Easy to start, took 2 pulls Good build quality Idles quietly where you can talk with ease Very pleased and no I did not receive payment for a review or anything of the sort, Im just a guy who likes fishing and is impressed with the quality. I hope this motor sells more and gains some more appreciation. Its very nice so far! Cheers! Edit: replacement prop if ever needed below!! Since that is a replacement for a Yamaha 2.5 4 stroke, you can get a prop from Yamaha as well and it should fit.     • Good motor, strong
This motor does not have reverse, which would be useful but it runs good, starts right up and is easy to use. You can make it reverse by turning it all the way around but it's a lot of work when you need to do it quickly.
