I love this brand, style, and finish of all the pantyhose brands I’ve tried. My colors are barely there and jet. There is little bit of sheen, but not too much. I prefer that to a flat finish on hose. (I am a pantyhose lover. Never completely converted to the bare-leg fad. Only with a tan! Just my opinion: some people should rethink the bare-leg look.) They definitely are not run and snag proof but when I choose to wear these, the purpose is not for heavy duty/work tights type thing. I would never wear them with boots that tend to rub on any part of my leg. But the control top is exactly the amount of support I like, and as stockings go, I think they are more durable than some other styles and brands. ... show more

Found out that my favorite brand of pantyhose has been discontinued. I'm entering the professional job market again after a break and I needed something suitable for dresses and casual wear. After a careful choice of my height and weight, I select the proper size for Hanes Silk Reflections. Here's a sample of what arrived. I had to lie on the floor and roll them up to pull them over my legs. Thank God I had a Jane Fonda exercise video to walk me thru the process. Day One, I got a run in the thigh area in spite of the fact the pantyhose is not exactly tight. There is little to no elastic in the weave. Okay, my bad? So I tried a new pair the second day. A run appeared in the foot area! I took a look at the weave. It's so fragile it's susceptible to runs and holes. I guess I will have to spray paint my legs when I go to work and hope the color doesn't rub off on my clothes. If you have legs up to your eye balls, and can afford to buy one pair per day, this pantyhose is for you. Otherwise, take a pass. ... show more

I did not even try these on, I could tell by the color that they would not work - plus they looked extremely long. I returned them! Thankfully I got my money back on something like this.
