I bought two of these sets to build frames for 2-3 person bench swings. They are made with high gauge steel with good weldments. I used Lowes 4x6 for beam and 4x4 for legs. Two of the brackets needing some mallet hammering to fit on the beam. The 4x4's slid on easily. It is a 2-person job to put together given its size. I expect they will last for many years. The concept is good. Either I received bad brackets or they need to redo the brackets. From all 5 of my boards I have to trim the 4x4s and the 4x6 to fit the bracket. Had to use soap and take a board and hit the end to get the brackets on. The bracket openings need to be about 1/8” larger. It should not be the same size as the board. I would have returned them but I was wanting to get my swing up. Also was missing a screw. ... show more
