This is such a great bag/purse/tote. It's very roomy on the inside - there are no inside pockets though. You also get a bonus smaller zippered bag - similar in size to a makeup bag. The material is buttery soft so it will not stand up on its own lol but sooooo nice to touch. Feels like real soft leather but is NOT leather. I like the style of the 'scales' - very pretty and very elevated-looking. The handles are comfortable and strong. I swung the bag around to and fro and all around and it didn't break! The 2 button looking things in the ad's pictures are the magnets that close the top. Very strong holding too. The 'red' is more of a pretty reddish/burgundy color which I absolutely love. It's the color I was hoping for and is spot on! I LOVE this bag. Not like I needed another one but this is, by far, my favorite and will use all the time. I do question the high cost given that 'vegan leather' has no animal hide at all and is generally made from recycled plastics. Otherwise, I HIGHLY recommend this product! ... show more

The bag was soft and supple, yet the double handles were strong enough to handle even the full capacity when I was testing the utility as a tote bag. The strong magnetic catch holds the sides closely together and the handle (which matches the purse exactly) is comfortable on the shoulder or as a hand held bag. I ordered this bag in red to take up to the pool and back with me, because I already filled up my other tote bags and wasn't about to undo that. It's pretty, and it's handwoven of red vegan leather. The tote has a nice matching zipper bag to hold money, anything important that might fall out of the tote, since the tote is unlined. I knew this bag had a hand carry or shoulder carry feature, and I knew what those usually do on me. I was hoping this one would be different, but I can't carry this on my shoulder because it always slips down and annoys me. Still, I knew this when I ordered the bags, and I can live with it. You can put a LOT of stuff in this purse and its matching pouch. The handwoven vegan leather expands a little bit when you put more stuff in it than you possibly should, but it does hold a lot. The zippered bag holds keys, your wallet if it fits, money, cards, and your cell phone. I like this vegan leather tote bag - it's handwoven, roomy, and it's red - but it's not my favorite because of the way the handle slips right off my shoulder every time I put it up there. I have a bigger tote bag that has a shoulder strap. If the shoulder/hand carry feature doesn't bother you, then I'd recommend this set of vegan leather tote bags. This bag is so useful for daily chores since it holds so much and can handle weight. It can also be used on the shoulder and the handle attachment areas are reinforced to be extra sturdy. The woven material looks nice but there is no mistaking that it is not real leather and it is initially a bit stinky...so if you're looking for something that appears to be leather, I'd look elsewhere. It is probably sturdier and stretchier than real leather and it certainly looks nice. My deep green color is exactly as shown and beautiful. I like that the matching purse has a nice zip closure in the same color...but solid..not a weave. Bottom line...a nice, big bag and purse that will look great and give good service at a fair price. ... show more

As another reviewer noted, I feel it's important to note that this is not really a shoulder bag. Trying to use it as a shoulder bag, unless you're very short, will result in unnecessary frustration. However, it is a nice medium-sized soft bag that appears well made and will be useful for trips to the beach, the pool, or as a carry-on bag on a plane. The included matching make-up bag adds to the functionality of this trendy woven bag, medium-sized. I got the beige one to match a pair of my favorite Aerothotic flip-flops I purchased on Amazon, but there are other gorgeous colors. I like the feel of this Vegan bag. It's a nice size and will hold a lot of items I'll need while traveling. The feel of the bag is soft, but not leather. It looks nice so far and the handles seem comfortable. It's hard to go vegan when we are very attached to leather goods, but this is a very nice alternative. The small clutch is nice for incidentals. It's large enough for necessities, but not overly large. The buttery soft fabric is very nice on your skin. I love a gold bag in the summer. It looks so good against my tan. This bag is not only beautiful but practical to use. The included matching cosmetic bag feels buttery soft and is large with a zippered pocket within and zippered closure. The bag has a great magnetic closure.
