Im going to keep trying on this POS. It seems the Mavic Pro is either landing or trying to take off and fly higher. Making the 'pistons' release the 'payload' is very inconsistent. It felt like the Mavic was running away from something, so I am going to get longer string to see if that works better, but I doubt it. The longer the string, the more the payload will sway, it seems. Its certainly not close, but I flew a ghost at halloween and the payload was much heavier, and it didnt seem to have a problem. ... show more

This item works exactly as described. However tonight i lost my Mavic Pro in the Atlantic Ocean dropping bait for shark. Drone wouldn’t accent only descended on return to home. Messes with the sensor, caused my bird to slam land like a stone. Broke 1 arm, 2 props and the gimble... I guess its important to read reviews first.... Amazon should remove this product

This is a great piece of engineering. Light weight, and works from a trigger from the drone itself. The only thing I don;t like is the short battery life. But the fact that the weight needed to be kept down makes it a necessary requirement.
