The media could not be loaded. I used this product to create a chest of treasures. I liked that the coins are made of metal and make a satisfying clanking noise when played with. While i wish they were thicker, they really are a great value for the quantity provided.

I've bought three of these packs of 100 gold coins (two last year and another one recently). I use these as "money" in a classroom for kids to buy prizes. I needed a refill after my bank started running low. On a whim, I decided to count these. Looks like each coin weighs .18 ounces. Dumped my bag of coins on the scale and saw 17.7 oz. Weird. I figured there must be some variance in coin weight and made a stack of 10, which makes it really easy to line up other stacks. My last stack was one short. Did I get 200 coins from my previous orders? No clue, but I know that I got 99 this time around. Bummer! Unless you just want "lots of coins," make sure you count! ... show more
