  • The NEW material is definitely different, lower quality, and uncomfortable.
Size: 42W x 30L Color: Khaki
First off let me say... this is the only product I have worn to work for the past 3 years. Originally the product was fantastic! The material was soft and comfortable, the fit was great, I could not have asked for more. Then, approx. 6-9 months ago I ordered more. This is when the disappointment began, they were sized small and itchy. VERY itchy, and uncomfortable to wear, walk, and sit. Did I mention they were now VERY itchy? Its like wearing wool that has been dried too long, scratchy, awful. I thought possibly it was an anomaly, I ordered 7 more pairs in the last two weeks (this time one size larger than previous) They fit similar to the original meaning now you really need to order one size larger than expected. the fit (one size larger) is good, however these may be itchier than the previous. THEY ARE AWFUL. I have to put on lotion to keep the itching down. I just purchased 7 pairs and I'm considering throwing them away and buying Dockers. The reason I originally loved the ORIGINAL product was the material was wrinkle free, very comfortable, and the fit was great. The new ones are just awful. Haggar should be ashamed. They really are that bad. Clearly they have gone cheap on the material and manufacturing. the material is definitely different, lower quality, and uncomfortable. Way to ruin another good thing. ... show more

  • Great comfortable product!
Size: 42W x 32L Color: Khaki
I ordered the pants long, and had to shorten (I had to guess the length when ordering). I must say: I love these pants! The fabric irons and sews beautifully. The drape of the fabric is good. When I finished hemming, they looked professionally done. I like the expandable waistline. These were for my son's graduation, and he looked very nice. Thank you! I highly recommend these pants. ... show more

  • Manufacturer shortened pockets - unusable product
Size: 38W x 30L Color: String
I have worn this particular style of pants for four years and thought I had found a good product. Bought a pair three weeks ago. Still good. Bought a pair last week. washed and put on to wear, expecting they would work like they have for past 4 years. I went to fill the pockets and found that Haggar had shortened them by approx. 2 inches/5 cm (they were 12 inches deep from the waist band - these are 10 inches deep). The pants are totally unusable for office/business casual wear as stuff now sticks out of the pocket! HUGE disappointment as I thought I found a manufacturer that knew pants have to have useable pockets. Haggar has seemingly decided that saving two inches of material in the pockets is more valuable than making a useable product. I gotta go find somebody that knows how to make pants now that Haggar doesn't. ... show more

  • Great fit, bad lint.
Size: 36W x 34L Color: Dark Navy
I love the fit and color of these pants. The ones I normally buy are no longer produced so I was looking to replace them. However, these pants collect lint like it's their job. I've tried washing them in hot water, cold water, this dryer sheet, that softener, this detergent, dryer balls, rinse with vinegar, etc. If I'm looking for pet hair or lint the dryer didn't catch all I need to do is look on these pants. I could make a whole other pair of pants out of the lint these things collect. I don't know what it is, every other dryer and pair of pants combo I've ever owned don't do this. The pants are great I just can't keep them clean. ... show more

  • Toughest pants I ever owned!
Size: 44W x 29L Color: Bark
We had to switch from jeans to a nicer style. These are light, cool and the toughest pants I've ever owned. They last me 3 times as long and look good the whole time. They never fade. I'm a big guy and would blow the crotch or pocket corners out of my jeans all the time. Not these. I even fell and hit my knee on a fan blade once and it cut my knee but barely put a nic in the pants. I don't know how! I've been buying these for 4-5 years. It's all I but now. I've only ever wore one pair out. I get new ones if I put a sharp tool in my pocket and tear it or something. They are tough and save me a lot of money. ... show more

  • Quality Control is Lacking Lately
My hubby struggles with his office attire and loves the Haggar brand, however, the prices for their pants are all over the map and it seems like the quality is going downhill. He has emailed the company about color fading, some odd zig-zag markings ( almost like thread pulls) that appear on the same spot on multiple Haggar pants that are new to new-ish. They haven't offered to replace any, but instead refer you to the online process which is a tad problematic when you've purchased them online through various Amazon providers. We wash these pants by themselves, cold water, delicate cycle and tumble dry low...so we are treating them with kid gloves. ... show more

  • Liked Better than Dockers
Size: 34W x 34L Color: Black
Did a side-by-side comparison with 'Dockers Men's Classic Fit Flat Front Signature Khaki' and found that: 1) Iron-free claim is true--no creases out of packaging vs. Dockers which maintained creases 2) Liked Hagger's fabric better than Dockers (Dockers has changed fabrics in the past few years, new fabric doesn't look as nice). The Haggar fabric has a smoother, shinier appearance, whereas Docker's has a coarser, flat apperance 3) Like elastic in the waist--fits tight without a belt--not that I wear it without a belt 4) I wear black pants every day and have found that the Dockers seem to attract 'dust' and spot more readily during daily activities After my comparison, I bought sever more pairs for work. ... show more

  • Another dissapointment
Size: 46W x 29L Color: Bark
Haggar Men's Big and Tall used to be my go to for work clothing. I tend to run around and stretch alot in the pants. Unfortunately, this is the second time i've tried ordering a khaki colored pants in the last few months.. The first one didnt even fit. This one fit the waist and the legs were too small. Not sure what's happened to Haggar's QA, but i'll be seeking pants elsewhere. Total dissapointment. ... show more
