The best has a great fit and has many options for adjustability in many areas. Stitching seems to be great quality along with the fabric itself. Straps are on great. Overall appearance is wonderful. Doesn’t have that chemical or nasty smell that most items have. My mid cap AK mags fit snugly in the pouches. Haven’t used it on the field yet, but so far, so good. ... show more

    • OUTSTANDING VALUE!!!
With all the recent civil unrest, I've been working on putting a loudout together... I have gone through 4 other vests before finding this one, and I sincerely wish I'd found it first and spared myself the headache. I won't detail which brand had which issues, but between Barska, Rothco, VISM/NCStar one was too big/thick and made bringing my arms together for a shooting stance nearly impossible, one was too small to fit my 14x11" plates as it should have, and one had too many things going on to be practical (too many straps, flaps, clips, etc.). I had even tried a cheapo Airsoft variant, but it couldn't handle the weight of real loaded mags in carriers. For just a few dollars for than the Airsoft vest, I purchased this brand/model. IMO, it is perfect. It fits my 14x11" front/back plates as well as side 6x8" perfectly. It has just enough retention points, velcro, straps/clips, etc. to be practical without being cumbersome. It seems very durable - the material grade is above the Airsoft and on par with the other brands mentioned here. Everything is double-stitched with heavy thread and the molle loops are very secure. It even has belt tie-downs - something none of the other brands came with...for someone like me who isn't fond of belts (because you have to make them tight enough for holsters, etc), this is a greatly-appreciated added value! And not least - it comes with a very generous assortment of molle attachments that could easily cost another $30+ dollars if purchased seperately. I honestly have no idea why some vests, even without plates, go for hundreds of dollars; I can't imagine how they can be any tougher or more practical than this one. I am thoroughly impressed by the amount of value you get with this vest. It costs only a few dollars more than cosplay vests and IMO is easily on-par with vests in the $60-80 range. My only gripe, if it were one, is that the color is slightly off in comparison to the picture. I ordered the Gray version and it's more of a very faded OD Green to my eyes, although gray-ish. This is seriously 5 stars. Got it to do airsoft not realizing it would actually hold plates. Came with mag pouches, two side pouches, and two zippered pouches. It’ll get hot but I plan on using it as a weight vest for hiking/running because it’s that comfortable. Has grab handles on the back so if you’re wounded you can get pulled around. The construction seems to be high quality. I’ve only done a couple of airsoft skirmishes but didn’t notice it on after running around a bunch and climbing over sheds, creeping through brush, and going prone. Double stitched and lots of places to hang gear from. Seriously if you want something to airsoft with get this. This might even be a good duty vest…we’ll see how it holds up going on long hikes and work outs. ... show more
