Comfortable, maybe to much so. The material seems slick under my hand and when doing heavy deadlifts, not feeling a solid grip on the bar messes with me. I've always used a reverse grip but would not recommend that as it puts senseless strain on the elbow. So being new to these, maybe it's just me.
