My husband who doesn’t usually enjoy wearing sneakers was very happy with these shoes. They are lightweight, and cradled his foot so that it almost felt like he wasn’t wearing tennis shoes at all. Not clunky and oversized like other sneakers he has tried. He’s happy!

These "Gyeice Mens Air Running Shoes Tennis Lightweight Sneakers Walking Trail Workout Gym" shoes are clearly based on the successful Nike Air Max sneakers' design. At a current price of $54.99 a pair, they're around 40-50% of what you would expect to pay for the Nikes, depending on sale prices. My initial reaction to wearing these around the house is that they do a decent job for the price. They have removable insole cushions if that's important to you. However, they make a loud clunking sound when I walk on our wood floors, so they aren't sneakers you want to try to sneak around wearing. Also, be aware that just sitting down wearing them for about 15 minutes made my feet hot, and they started sweating even with thin socks. If you plan to walk or run in them for exercise, that could be an issue. Otherwise, they fit well and are comfortable. I usually wear a Nike size 12.5, but I feel like I could wear these size 13s as long as I tighten the laces down. ... show more

These are well made, comfortable, and relatively decent shoes... but quite honestly, the beige color just look cheap. The darker brown markings, which I thought would add to the aesthetic, instead just look like cheap stuck on plastic print, and also highlight the fact that the lace holes are kind of bare. I would recommend these as comfortable, lightweight shoes, but not at the current price point and definitely not in the beige color. ... show more

I enjoyed these shoes. They are snug, yet comfortable. This is a definitely a "D" width shoe. If you have wider feet you may not be comfortable wearing these. One image shoes a close-up of laces going into the holes of the shoe. There are no eyelets in these shoes. What appears to be an eyelet is actually part of the printed "trim" of the shoe. These shoes feel good on and fit well. They provide arch support and walking in them feels good. They have air cushions which increase their comfort. The top of the shoe is mesh and very breathable. I like how these shoes look and feel overall. The sole of the shoe is very thick hard rubber like material. It is a solid base. With that said, I would not consider these a lightweight shoe. They are significantly heavier than other running shoes I own. They do seem to provide adequate support while I’m walking or jogging. I do have some concern that over time the mesh will allow my foot to start to slide out over side of the shoe (imagine walking on the outer sides of your feet in shoes). Not a bad shoe for the price but will not be an everyday running shoe for me (although I will wear them for casual use frequently). ... show more

    • Air bubbles are soft

The media could not be loaded. In other running shoes I have had that contain air bubble, the bubbles are firm unless they have popped. In this shoe, the bubbles are already soft. I appreciate the solid rubber tread on the bottom, and the padded foam insole.
