I would give the mat 5 stars.... but as a vegan it is against my belief to use animal products. I don't even allow leather products in my house and the glove appear to be leather. I don't even need them and did not know they would send leather based gloves as it was not in the description that they were leather. I'm not at all happy that my money was spent to steal from an animals skin.. It's against my belief.. Please respect that.. The mat fit perfectly in my room.. I"m happy with the mat itself. I love it so far. This is the first day so I don't know the durability yet. It is comfortable.... I was worried it wouldn't be thick enough to do my exercises, but it is.. Works great barefoot.. Does not slide. *There is a problem that it curls up at the end.. since it is going to stay in this room.. the solution is the use Velcro adhesive (black tape) to make it stick to the floor. It's still usable without that fix.. I like it to look nice. but I will have to buy another brand that doesn't include a non-vegan product with the item next time as I did not know.. I even asked the community what material the gloves were but I didn't get a response and needed the mat. I have a belief in vegan minimalism and only buying material products that I must have in daily life. In 2020 we've had a crisis that was caused by animal agriculture.. We are in a crisis over global warming and animal agriculture is the number one cause. Please don't force intelligent consumers to buy unnecessary destructive items to the planet and animal kingdom. Your product is a good product otherwise.. I hope you change your ways.. by 2035 they say the ocean life may die off, all life will become more difficult when that happens.. I like many will live to see that day, but we can try to change that estimate through intelligent use of products to save our planet. 200 million cows die daily on this planet. So much destruction come form animal abuse. Many people can't even eat in the countries who export meat. Veganism is a 90% more efficient way. I have been vegan for over 10 years. but the gloves were a violation of my belief and I'm not happy my money was used for that. Thank you for the very well made mat. Namaste ... show more

This mat is great compare to those sqaure ones you have to connect together. It's enough cushion so I can lay on it and do crunches while protecting my floor at the same time. When you put weight on it you can notice an imprint mark but it retains its shape after the weight is removed. I can't wait to order another set to replace my square ones. Hello - My review is actually about the customer Service person I was dealing with after I complained about the mat that I purchased. Her name is Zoe, and Zoe was incredible to work with. You see, I messed up when I purchased my mat and bought the one that could NOT be used with sneakers. Within days, the mat began to shed little rubber pellets all over my workout area. Each time I used the mat more and more would shed. I wrote in to complain and Zoe, very patiently explained to me that I had purchased was one that wasn't conducive to shoes. There were so many choices when I made my selection that I misread my selection and purchased the wrong mat for my needs. At this point it was ZOE to the rescue. She indicated that she could make an exception and send me a replacement mat that would work with sneakers and not shed. She recommended a certain size and had it processed. A few weeks later the mat arrived and we are extremely happy. THANK YOU Zoe for your exceptional customer service. The moral of the story is to make sure you are picking the right mat for your specific exercise needs. Thank you! ... show more
