Great Product but crappy instructions. The good news is that there are Youtube videos to help you so don't hesitate to buy them, I own six pairs of Wooden snow shoes. The bindings are the weak link in the system. They all have their own bindings and none of them work really well. These do. Once you figure how to install them, and you will, you will never want to use any other binding. GV makes a whole line of bindings but the Asymmetrical seem to be the best of the lot. Now that I know how well they work I am having trouble finding two more pair ... show more

    • Nice bindings
Nice bindings but no instructions other than a few small dark photos on the package. Not too hard to figure out what to do but clear instructions would be much better. I attached these to a pair of Iverson 10x56 Trappers with no difficulty. I didn't use the ice grips but did put some stainless steel fender washers under the attaching nuts to distribute the strain. Be advised that the fasteners are metric so you will need a metric allen wrench and a small metric wrench (or 5/16 SAE) to tighten them up. Should be a nice improvement over the leather H style bindings they are replacing. Would buy again. ... show more

Bought two of these for my old school snowshoes. It was hard to find bindings on Amazon in the first place, but even if I had a wide selection, these would be it. Easy on/off, well made, and easy to install. These would work well on any shoe, from old school, to the new aluminum jobs....love em!

I would give these a 5 star, but the heel strap keeps coming loose. I fixed it with a loop of paracord and I will replace the paracord with a leather loop soon. the bindings should come with a better way to keep the heel strap in place. Once I made the loop to hold it, these have worked perfectly. I highly recommend these. ... show more

Beats the crap out of the issue bindings that come with those military snowshoes. Make sure to read the instructions and be prepared to use slightly longer bolts. Check YouTube and Google for people explaining the best way to use these bindings. It's not complicated, but theres one or two things worth noting in order to save some time and disappointment. Product seems to do what it advertised and makes getting in and out of the shoes a breeze. I would recommend this product. ... show more

    • Superb snowshoe bindings
These are excellent bindings, easy to put on and take off wearing mittens. They keep your foot aligned with the snowshoe, and the crampons work well, both uphill and downhill. You just have to point your toes in both cases. There's apparently been a design change in the last year, because the crampon plate is quite a bit larger, making the bindings harder to install and pushing them forward into the toe space. I think I like the old design better. If you have the old leather-strap bindings, you will find these far superior both to put on and take off, and to walk in. ... show more

I bought these for use on a pair of military snowshoes and they really fit the bill. Although I did get a size larger than I needed they still function flawlessly. I really like the crampon and in fact this feature was a deciding factor. They were very easy to install. These bindings hold your foot rock solid allowing complete control of the shoe. I did however add a coupe of washers to the two screws that mount these bindings, these should come with them I would think, but not a game changer. I am very pleased with these and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. ... show more
