  • PRS McCarty 594 SE Friendly!
Color: Pro - Black - Black Handle
I bought these after reading a review on here. The buyer said you have to drill out the hole about 8 thousands of an inch. Correct. Screws that come with tuners are too small. Correct. The ferrules are too large for hole in headstock. Correct. In short, drill out holes on tuners a little bigger and use your original ferrules and screws and you will be happy. They stay in tune well and look good. ... show more

  • Good locking tuners for LP style guitar
I put these on my Glen Burton LP style guitar, to replace the generic vintage style tuners that came with the guitar. It was mostly a 1:1 match, except the bushings were a little more robust than the cheap ones I was replacing. I used a drill bit and manually bored out the hole just a bit and then used a small clamp to push the bushings down flush. The screw holes for the tuner bodies lined up exactly. As for function, these seem to work pretty well. They are just a bit stiff, but there is zero play in the mechanism making micro adjustments super easy. The locking mechanisms, usually a concern at the lower price points, actually worked flawlessly. They seem pretty solid. As for appearance, these look really sharp. I like the graphics on the locking knobs, which I think give it a much more high end appearance. They were packed and organized in a nice box, which I used to store the old tuners. Overall I am quite impressed. If you have an LP style guitar with vintage style tuners, then I recommend these if you are interested in quick string changes and holding tune really well between playing sessions. ... show more

  • Suprisingly good tuners
It was really nice to find these tuners in cream color as opposed to the pea soup green everyone else was offering. Classic style tuners but with the string locking feature. Replaces vintage style or cheap factory tuners with the smaller hole and bushings well. Fits Epiphone LP specials with only the need to add a few screw holes. Much better than the ones that came on the Slash special and give it the classic look I wanted. Better tuning stability, better string changes, better looks. They're not super high end, but they're way better than what I had. I feel like they're a bargain and will be buying Guyker parts again. ... show more

  • Epiphone SG standard
Color: nickel 2- Yellow Green Handle
Fit just fine. Went in easy. Screws lined up perfectly. Now it holds tune even playing heavy metal. I was super reluctant, but for the cost I’d try em out. Very impressed. Will try some of inline 6 on the squire.

  • Missing hardware, poor design
Color: Pro - Black - Black Handle
I did alot of research on these because of the price and they seemed ok so i bought them for my Gibson SG. When i received them they were missing some of the screws for the headstock. Also, the press fit rivet design just kind of sucks and doesn't stay in place. The oem gibson design is much better even without the locking feature. ... show more

Color: Chrome - Yellow Green Handle
I have bought very many sets of these tuners in different styles Guyker brand tuners are good quality seem to keep guitars in tune and the locking feature usually has it in tune with about a quarter to a half turn I would recommend because I had bought so manny

  • Not the best fit for my Gibson SG Standard (2012)
I bought these to replace the stock Kluson machine heads on my Gibson SG Standard. I was looking for something that retained the look of the Klusons but offered the tuning stability of a locking system. The tuners themselves seem solidly built with the usual thumbwheel to pinch the string in place. Your mileage may vary with your instrument but here are how things lined up for mine. 1. The bushing was a bit smaller than the stock. This made it difficult to center the post in the opening. I did my best. 2. While centered (as best possible) the existing screw holes do not quite align with the new machines. 3. The bushing system doesn't have a screw type mechanism that the stock tuners do. The screw type (where the bushing screws into the post) provides a clamping action on the headstock which adds stability. The only thing these have keeping them in place are the two screws. 4. Because of the slight offset due to the bushing size the string tension pulls the machine a bit so it's not level like it should be. In the end I removed these and put my stock tuners back on. I messed with the stock bushings and they helped a bit but the lack of a "clamping" mechanism left me a bit worried about overall tuning and structural stability. If these fit your instrument I think they will be a good option. I took a chance and thought the measurements were close enough. Not in my case. Giving three stars as they didn't work for my application but that isn't necessarily the fault of the item itself. ... show more
