Bought for 4 feral cats to spend winter in!! They love it, only thing we don't like are the feet they don't stay on and are a very cheap plastic. Went to hardware store and bought metal wheels. This would be great for any animal for shelter. I would buy again.

I purchased this to complete crate training for my dog (Alaskan Husky). He was really attached to his crate, I was really trying to get rid of it but, I knew that he needed “his own space” so I purchased this along with a dog bed that fits inside. I keep this dog house inside of my home in the living room. He loves it and is in it all the time, so if you love your dog enough and confident that they will use it, it’s 100% worth it. Plus it looks good. HOWEVER, the reason for four stars is for two reasons. One, being that the hinges are trash. It’s a cool concept that it opens up (which it does) but the screws that they give you are NOT big enough or strong enough, so whenever you open it the hinges come off, so you need to use your own screws. Also the “asphalt” roof I personally don’t think is actually asphalt but, it flakes. Asphalt pieces constantly fall off, if you rub your hand on it they will flake off immediately. Also setting it up by yourself could be tricky. Other than those things it’s a solid product. My dog weighs around 70lbs and he is very rough. He jumps into it, tosses, turns… he loves this thing and that to me is worth it. ... show more

I’ve had this dog house since February of 2023. Assembly was almost too easy, and realized how poor the quality was. Less than 2 years later the roof is rotting and falling apart. Not worth the money, will have to buy a new one and would NOT buy this one again.

I really love these dog houses but they are mislabeled. These are not chew proof. I have Labradors and the young ones are big chewers. I have a hard time finding dog houses they will withstand their chewing. When I came across these, I was very excited and purchased 5 of them to accommodate all of my dogs. The metal frame around the house really does help with the chewing but there is one important spot the manufacturer neglected to lay metal. The upper inside of the door, shown in the photos, has no metal trim. It is a bullseye for dogs and almost says "chew me, start Here!" Dogs tend to lay in the house facing outward and that is the area they are able to start chewing if bored. Once they start, it's all over, as you can see in the photos. If the manufacturer simply lines the upper inside of the door with metal like the sides and the bottom are, it will solve this issue. I have been in contact with the company and they say they will be shipping me a new front panel for this house but will be the same as the one before. So it will be up to me to cover the inside with metal. Hopefully they will follow through and send me the new front. I do hope this manufacturer adds metal to the inside top to make it as stated, chew proof. Otherwise, they need to change the title to no state Chew proof. It is misleading. ... show more

    • Amazing! But it’s a TWO PERSON JOB
The dog house looks great and is very spacious. Both dogs I have took a liking to it immediately (corgi, husky) and they fit comfortably. Beware though, it is difficult to build on your own. Definitely need two people, in addition make sure to measure your door to yard before building. I suggest building base outside before hand. Either then that, it’s worth it. The media could not be loaded. It came exactly as described. It's just smells a little funny tho. It's beautiful. I love it. It's perfect size. My pit fits in it just fine and a bed cam fit inside and theu can lay down n not be cramped. She's only 45lbs. So I'd say up to 55 lbs comfortably. Easy to assemble and easy to read directions.
