  • Best controller in the business right now! I would use it on ALL consoles if I could
Color: Black
I want to focus on describing what matters most about this controller instead of retreading features that the item description could already tell you. This controller is amazing and should be in theory the most reliable controller on the market. I think it has among the best face buttons, the D Pad feels great to me, and it has my favorite triggers of any controller. The grippy texture on the back of the controller is awesome. Best texture I've felt on a controller out of the box. Also, I REALLY LOVE the plastic hardshell case it comes with. It's super cool because it protects the controller from dust, and barely takes any more space up than the controller itself normally would. I wish every controller came with a little case like this honestly. The real highlight of this controller is the analog sticks. Because they are Hall Effect sticks, not only should they not degrade over time and start drifting like every other controller on the market will but their accuracy is completely unrivaled (though 8bitdo controllers actually come a bit close unlike first party controllers) My controller does match the advertised error margin of 0.6% but what that doesn't tell you is that you can set your center stick deadzone to 0%. If you're not aware what a deadzone is, let me first say that having it at 0% is an absolute game changer. A deadzone is an area of the stick where the game will not respond to your movements. Most games have a 12-20% deadzone. The more the deadzone, the less responsive the game will be to small movements, making it MUCH harder to zero in on a target. It's the biggest reason keyboard and mouse has an advantage over controllers in FPS games. The mouse doesn't have a deadzone so your ability to have pinpoint accuracy is massive vs a controller user who has a deadzone to contend with. This controller however, can be used with a 0% deadzone without experiencing any drift. Most controllers if you set your deadzone too low, the stick will drift. Test for yourself if you have any games that let you change that setting. Some examples - Warframe, Warface, Rogue Company, Ghostrunner, Apex Legends, and Returnal (PS5 only) I find that even a brand new Dualsense controller needs deadzone at 8% or higher and usually has a 5.5% margin of error at least with the ones I've tested. The other first party controllers only get worse with my Switch Pro controller having over 7%, xbox sx over 8%. My used dualsense needs deadzone at 15%. So effectively, as your controller gets older, your ability to aim in video games will get worse That shouldn't be the case with this controller. It should never degrade because of the hall effect sensors not having moving parts. Now, this isn't the only way a controller can have issues. Some of my oldest dualshock 4's, the springs that center the stick are feeling a little wonky. Also I've had issues with the triggers on my Xbox sticking So this controller won't last FOREVER, but I would give it at least 5 years of heavy use which is a hell of a lot more than any other controller out there. Also, battery life is awesome. I got it over a week ago and still haven't had to charge it. I'd guess battery life to be around 50 hours but that's a total guess. At least 30 tho The only things I don't like about the controller are the sticks don't have as much physical tension as I'd like. Also, I HATE offset sticks personally. My hands are symmetrical so I've always hated controllers that aren't. Playstation and 8bitdo controllers are just more comfortable IMO Also the grips. They're just not big enough IMO. Btw, when I say grips I mean the part of the controller that you actually grip onto. IMO the Dualsense controller and the Satisfye Switch console grips are the best grips on any controller. These aren't the worst, but they're basically only better than PS3, Switch pro, Gamecube and Xbox Series X grips. Frankly I think even Xbox 360 controllers have nicer grips. Honestly though, the fact is, if I could use this controller on every console and PC I would. I've even looked into getting an adapter to use this controller on every console and it seems like the only adapter that can do this is the Chronus Xen or something but that's $150. I might still get it because that's how much I love this controller honestly and it mostly boils down to the analog sticks being ultra accurate and in theory they will last forever. I REALLY HOPE that Gulikit will make a playstation version of their controller (I mean in terms of the shape and layout) because I just don't like the offset sticks or grips of this controller. Even better would be if they made a model of this controller with back buttons or paddles. My 8bitdo Xbox controller has back buttons and I absolutely love them and even better is the Back Button Attachment for Dualshock 4 which has a screen on it that makes it super easy to change what they each do I also hope they make an adapter that allows you to use this controller on Series X and PS5 (even to play PS5 games). It seems like it's hard to make an adapter that works on PS5 to play actual PS5 games. Most just let you play PS4 games on PS5 so I really hope gulikit can figure out how to make an adapter that will also let you play PS5 games Then this controller will be the only controller I need. ... show more

  • Not only drift-free but a great controller overall
Color: Black
This controller is a godsend for those who struggle with drift or are afraid that at some point drift will occur. I’m going to summarize it - No drift here, joysticks have a magnet technology that disables any future chance of drift. So it’s 100% drift-free. - The controller feels AAA quality, it has the shape of an Xbox series x controller but better because it comes with usb-c charge. - The d-pad is phenomenal, contrary to the pro controller and even Xbox X d-pads which are really inaccurate, here with this controller d-pad works like a dream. Honestly one of the best d-pads I’ve experienced. - Overall buttons work and feel great, not noisy, not clicky, not mushy. - Setting up the controller to your Nintendo Switch is easy as long as you read the manual, but once its setup works perfectly, doing exactly the same as the pro controller like awaking it from sleep mode, turning it on. - It comes with a protector which is a good plus specially if you still don’t have one, also comes with the usb-c cable charger - On wireless mode battery last a ton. - It has a great texture. It’s not plain plastic but feels great on hand. I know it sounds biased I haven’t criticized this controller, but is really that great. Maybe I’d said the colors since there’s only black and white, I wish they could have more color variety like silver, gray or blue, but nonetheless if you have a Switch and like to play on dock mode this is the controller you need, don’t waste your money with the pro controller that sooner or later is going to drift. I have two pro controllers and both drifted. I was about to make the mistake and buy another pro controller for the new Zelda until I found out about this drift-free controller. ... show more

  • Serious Quality Control Issues
Color: Black
I got this controller back in July and straight out of the box the A button would squeak whenever you press it, and it would get worse the longer you play. It also stuck occasionally. I contacted the seller about this and they advised me to install the firmware update. I'm not sure how a software update would fix a hardware issue but I tried it anyway and unsurprisingly it did not fix it. I continued to use it for a week and the issue didn't get any better, and I couldn't really ignore it because you press A (the confirm button) pretty frequently in most games so I sent it back and got a replacement. The replacement came and the A key no longer squeaked and still stuck sometimes but very infrequently so I can live with that. However on the new controller the B button sticks incredibly frequently and quite hard. The first few times you hit it in a session it'll be fine but past that, you'll have to wait for it pop back up or worse hit it a few more times with your finger to get it work. It doesn't matter if you press it soft or hard, slow or fast, there's about a 75% chance it's going to stick. This is very disappointing because otherwise this is a good controller. It's comfortable, it can wake the switch from sleep, has NFC, the sticks feel great, bumpers are nice and clicky, triggers work well, and the face buttons (when they work) also feel good. And I know these issues aren't universal because my friend also purchased this controller from amazon and experienced no issues. But when I get 2 faulty controllers in a row, it's not an anomaly, it's a trend. And I've seen similar complaints in other reviews for this product. UPDATE: The seller reached out to me and offered another replacement since the first replacement was past the return window. The new one I got works perfectly (the face buttons feels snappier though, not sure if the switches inside are different or not) but the main takeaway is that there is no more button sticking or squeaking. Everything feels, sounds, and works as it should. The bumpers feel more clicky too too but that's not really negative or positive, just a preference thing. The sticks still feel great and the controller is comfortable enough to use for hours at a time. I do still wish their QA/QC was better because this is a very nice controller, you just shouldn't have to count on good luck or a series of replacements to get one without issues. ... show more
