  • Dont waste your money
Not the best. I recently started using cloth diapers and did notice these caught alot of babies solids. However my daughter still gets breastmilk so her "solids " aren't so solid. Stool still seeps through the liner, so I still have to spray. However, I just purchased Simple Being diapers which came with sample of their liners. NOTHING gets through these! Much softer, thicker, while catching solids still allows for the urine to go through. I will definitly be switching. For the few extra bucks its worth it. EDIT: After switching to Simple Being liners for the last month I really just how awful these Grovias really are. Grovias are like a dryer sheet, while Simple Being is like a super soft multi layer Kleenex. Nothing gets through it, (except urine) and its strong enough to use as a wipe to get all the stool off. I only need to use a single wipe afterwards. They are about $7 more but considering I now only use 1 wipe instead of anywhere from 2 to even 4 or 5 for the messiest of diapers, and I'm not spraying the diaper for 10 minutes, and since my baby fortunatly poops on a schedule, a pack will last about 3 to 4 months. So the savings in wipes and water will surely add up to waaaaaaaayyyyy more than $7!!!! ... show more

  • YOU NEED THESE LINERS!
I am a big cloth diaper fan. However, I don't want to spend a lot of time dealing with poop. (Who does?!) We have been cloth diapering for over 2 years now and we don't own a diaper sprayer! (Gasp.) The fact is, thanks to these liners, we don't need one. When your child poops, the liners allow you to just slide the liner & poop straight into your diaper pail. The prewash cycle on our washing machine takes care of the rest. No leaning over a toilet trying to make sure you don't accidentally spray poop onto yourself or your walls. I have tried several other liners & these seem to be the most durable and are the best priced... SCORE! A few notes- - We do not re-use these. Even if they are in a pee only diaper we still trash them. I can't bring myself to re-use them at the risk of causing an infection. - We do not flush these down the toilet. I don't want to tempt fate and back up my septic system. Plus it's easier to chuck them into the trash. - I have seen other reviewers mention the need to cut these in half because they are too large. I have not found that to be necessary. Simply lay them on top of the diaper and once the diaper is snapped on simply tuck in on the sides if a little extra is peeking out. Trust me, with a two year old, you want as much diaper coverage as possible. ... show more

  • They are nice and wide so there aren't many leaks onto the ...
Added after original review: I didn't even realize how great these are until they were on back order and I had to try a different brand. The other brand holds liquids a lot more so my baby's diaper needs to be changed almost right away. The GroVia liners let the liquid pass and let the diaper do it's job! Original review: These work really well to keep the solids separate from the cloth diapers. They are nice and wide so there aren't many leaks onto the diaper. I don't personally flush these because 1) I have a diaper genie and 2) most things that say they are flushable really shouldn't be flushed anyway. ... show more

  • +++Great Product for Cloth Diaper Babies Who Are Eating Solids!
I use these liners with our AIO (all-in-one) BumGenius diapers. The Baby: Our daughter is 7 months old and eats a mix of formula, breast milk, and solids. The Pro's -They are biodegradable and flushable. We have an older toilet and I've never had an issue. That said, we only flush one at a time. -Nice and large -Do a decent job absorbing the waste -Texture and material gentle on baby's bottom -Broader cloth diaper adoption! My husband is willing to change/do cloth diapers when we use the Grovia liners -Rarely need to spray out diapers or rinse them afterward The Con's -They don't catch everything. Stool still gets liquidy or runny. -Stool stains can still happen (but there are things to remove those) -You have to secure them properly -- using the snaps on your cloth diaper to help "pin" in place the wipe will help. Overall, these are a great option to line your cloth diapers. Some of the reviewers say they cut them or fold them in half which I don't get. They catch more when they are opened up all the way. I've found it's better for the liner edges to go outside of the diaper a little bit vs folded in too narrowly where they aren't covering the diaper's full surface. We do have a spray attacher and basin as well for our cloth diapers, but with these Grovia liners, we haven't needed them. I'm giving these 4 not 5 stars because there's no getting around it. You'll still have to deal with poo. Blowouts aren't fun, no matter what. There's no silver bullet to keeping your cloth diaper poop-free. But the Grovia liners help a whole lot. ... show more

  • Work great!
I bought these to use in our cloth diapers for when our son began cereal -- they work great! They catch at least 90% of even the biggest messes. I can just lift out the liner and toss it (I throw them in the trash to be safe, since we have a septic system). Though I do still rinse the diaper after, there is MUCH less yuck to clean off than if I hadn't used a liner! I don't personally mind rinsing the diapers that much, but my husband and our babysitter certainly appreciate the liners. :) As a bonus, since I started using these, all of my diapers have come out of the laundry stain-free -- no need to sun them! We've been using liners in our diapers for approximately five months now. We've used four different brands of liners, and these GroVia liners remain our favorites. Some of the others were very cloth-like (and stuck to my son's hiney), others were too stiff, some were too wide, etc. Once we finish the roll we're using, we're switching back to the GroVias. ... show more
