“These are great!” was the first thing my husband said when he saw these ground anchors. “They’re the best I’ve ever seen.” He likes that they’re so thoughtfully designed with enough auger to drive the stake but not so much it gets loosened in the wind. He did say the tips could have been sharper, sheesh! We’re using these ground anchors to hold down a SUV size Shelter Logic. These are very beefy anchors. We get some pretty big winds here in Alaska… y’all in the Lower 48 like to give winds like ours names, we just call them wind. Right after installing these we got a day of light breeze, only about 70mph. That Shelter Logic didn’t budge. The anchors held, didn’t bend, perfect. If they should fail I will definitely update my review. The straps they come with would be super convenient if you have something with horizontal pipes on the ground. Our cross pieces were a bit too high to use. The eye bolts are a good size for thicker rope, more than enough room for the aircraft cable we used. The multiple options for installation are great - if you don’t have a driver you can use the T-handle & drive them in by hand (or if you have to work it through some rocky spots). Got these not for a trampoline, but actually to hold down a redneck deer blind that used to be an old grain wagon. Since it is a single axle it needed a bit more stability. It's worked so far and were super easy to use and I used an impact driver to get these into the ground. I think the finish on them could use some improvement, but they would have gotten rusty anyways. Just think it would be nice to keep the paint on a little longer. ... show more

Got these to secure down a tent at the beach while camping. These worked out great. Very simple to use, they come with a driver to put into your drill to screw them down into the sand, or whatever you are securing them into. They also come with straps to attach to the stake that you can attach to whatever you are securing. They have a nice sharp leading point of the screw, and seem to be powder coated as well for extended life. Very happy with these, and worked great to secure our tent, we experienced some higher winds at night, and the tent never moved, and were never concerned of it blowing away. We had a hurricane rolling in fast, and I was worried about our shed. It's not something you can bring into the house to keep it safe, but I wanted to do something to protect it from the high winds we were expecting. I got these anchors, quickly gave myself some youtube education on how to install them, and we managed to get it all done in under an hour. The shed stayed strong and stable during the worst of the storm, and I feel a lot better riding out the rest of hurricane season knowing my shed is staked down and not likely to come soaring through the living room window!
