The media could not be loaded. I've had one of these mounts for a few years now. A couple months ago, someone borrowed my tripod and broke the mount right off. (So, yes, I endorse the other reviewers who are complaining about the durability of the screw attachment, because that's where mine was broken.) I balked at the price to replace it, I don't remember it being quite this expensive, but I really liked this mount, so I bought another one anyway. I was so confident, I didn't even take it out of the box when it arrived. That was almost a huge mistake! Last week, I take it out to help my sister film a project, and I Can't Get The Grip Open. What? I am able to turn the knob to lock and unlock the plates to change the angle of the grip, but I can't open the grip to put a phone inside it. The same knob controls both functions. My original mount's grip slides open and shut so easily and locks with the knob so effortlessly, I've never even thought of it before. So I was really confused that I was using so much force that I was afraid I'd break the new one, and it still wouldn't budge! Luckily, I had 2 weeks left in my return window, so I immediately request a replacement. The replacement (now we're on mount #3) arrived yesterday. Today, I try it out, AND IT'S EVEN WORSE than the last one! Not only am I unable to open the grip, but I can't turn the knob responsible for the grip width and orientation into the locked position. It's totally jammed. (In the video, you can see I did eventually get it to turn, but it still didn't make a difference to opening the grip.) I guess I'm going to have to find a completely new alternative or try gluing my old one back together. Really disappointed. ... show more

The weight of the mount is just right, doesn't bother with the Gorilla-pod and you can easily manipulate the angles without fear of it falling over. The Pro2 is much more easy and the mechanisms are a lot better (like rotating why the chance of your phone dropping out) but the heavy is very out of place. Initially the Pro1's cellphone clasp was very hard to open, but after a few times I got the hang of it and found it to be very easy to manipulate. Only complain is that there's a chance your phone will fall out when rotating stand from horizontal to vertical, -1 star. ... show more

This is the best phone mount I’ve ever used. And as a livestreamer, I’ve used quite a few. This mount is super secure, and incredibly adjustable. You’re phone will never fall out of this mount. This thing has made my videos easier to film... I used to struggle to hold my phone up, or aggressively shove it into one of those holders that pulls and tightens... this EASILY unscrews to slide the opening wider and it’s amazing! I love this. This is my second one which I bought as a spare. There are cheaper models out there, but they don't do the same job as well, and there are very few out there that can allow you to set your phone up in not only landscape mode but also portrait mode with the flexible of adjusting different heights for the stand too when combined with a Joby tripod or most other camera tripods! Great phone tripod mount. I've tried a bunch and this is by far the best overall that I have used. Ease of use only got 4 stars because sometimes the slide for the phone grip wants to get jammed up, it's just a matter of wiggling it to get it to slide but it is frustrating sometimes! What I liked was that the product was simple to install on my Joby tripod, it also fit nicely on my standard tripod. Opening up the cell phone mount clamp was difficult the first time but was smooth and easy on subsequent mountings. Very functional and easy to use.
