While I'm past the point in my life where skating is my thing, I used to skate, a ton! I broke my fair share of stuff so I learned how to outfit my new decks with grip tape. This tape is very similar to what I was used to using that came straight from the skate shop. I'm too old to be wrecking myself on the pavement anymore so I bought this for a different reason entirely. I, now grown and doing the adulting thing am a Contractor and Business Owner and I wanted this to add large traction patches to my job trailer's ramp door. It gets slick when it gets wet from being walked on with wet feet or from opening and closing it in the rain. This worked out perfectly for my needs. THESE ARE HUGE pieces of grip tape that allowed me to have enough of it and put it where I wanted without skimping. I used a little contact cement in addition to the adhesive it comes with because it was being applied to a painted plywood surface and not a nice smooth deck top like it's meant to and it all worked out perfectly. We absolutely love this clear grip tape. We are planning to put this on the foot board of our electric scooters so that we can replace the ones that are already on there that don't match. Besides, I am going to surprise my daughter with her's because I am going to trick out her foot board with pictures of her favorite k-pop boy band and her name in the middle then place this clear grip tape on top to seal it all in so that her scooter is literally a one-of-a-kind, dedicated to her favorite k-pop group. It came with 2 pieces which were way more than what we needed, so I tried a small piece on mine to see how good it sticks and it definitely sticks strong. We used this for our 6 year olds scooter as well as an old skateboard. The application is easy to follow through with and worked great on our skateboard. For the scooter?
