Description

A built-in pistol grip nozzle features a quick release attachment and connects to any garden hose. When you're done scrubbing, pop off the reservoir and rinse clean with the nozzle.     • Highly disappointing
The foam sprayers designed for attachment to regular garden hoses all have two things going against them. First, they use a bunch of product; and second, they don't generate nearly as much foam as the wands that attach to power washers. I have yet to find an exception to this so adjust your expectations going in. But this particular foaming sprayer suffers from yet another limitation. Unlike, for example, the Gilmour FoamMaster II, to which you add undiluted soap to the bottle and use a dial on top of the sprayer to determine the concentration, this product requires you to add a pre-mixed solution to the bottle. No dial. This means you can't add the product back into the container if you have any left over—but that's not the worst part. The real problem is that it uses product so quickly that you may find yourself having to stop and re-fill the bottle multiple times over the course of a wash. In my case, washing a truck and camper, I had to refill it seven times. This, my friends, is the very definition of a PITA and a total deal-killer. I have been reading about using a foam cannon as part of washing the car/truck. I really didn't want to deal with the hassle of getting my pressure washer out every time so I was looking for an alternative that just hooked up to my car washing hose. I bought this Foaming Sprayer and the Griot's car wash and finally got a chance to use it. Simple stuff, add 32 ounces of warm water and 3 ounces of the car wash to the sprayer bottle. Attach the nozzle to the hose and the sprayer bottle to the nozzle(quick release works slick). I sprayed the truck down with water first and then used the foam attachment. A pretty liberal application will use one bottle of the mix. I washed the truck with a bucket and wash mitt, you disconnect the sprayer bottle and the nozzle works just like a regular sprayer! ... show more

    • An easy quick way to foam up a car.
I used this with Griot's Brilliant car wash instead of my regular gas powered set up and it is a much easier and effective way to soap up the vehicle and then hand washing the soap off. It obviously will not be as effective as either an electric or gas powered pressure washer for ultra high foaming action, but it is perfect if you want to do a simple foam up of a semi clean vehicle follwed by a hand washing and wiping the foam off. The dirt pulling down effect seemed to work well and the soap maintained it's foaminess on the car as I worked my way around it washing off the foam. ... show more

    • Good coverage of spray.
This foamer works great. It lays down nice layer of suds very quickly and it seems to make expensive wash last longer than using a brush and a bucket.

Make sure the part where the sprayer connects to the foaming canister is tight and seals properly or water will spray everywhere. It is a solid product.

    • Good foam, poor quick connect
This sprayer does make nice foam but it has a proprietary quick connect that is too easy to release. Every time I use it, I manage to bump this and the sprayer falls to the concrete. I doubt it is will take this too many more times before it breaks. Not what I expect from Griot's.

This foam gun is excellent! It has 3 different settings on how much pressure you want. It holds lots of soap, and also comes with its own hose nozzle, so you do not have to remove the whole product to just dispense water. I would recommend this product.

    • It works but I'll probably not use it again.
It works all right. The high capacity dispenser holds plenty to easily complete the car cleaning and more in one fill. It is very convenient that the dispenser easily detaches so the car can be rinsed without first turning off the water and removing the dispenser. The device does not really put out a heavy foam however - at least as I expected. Some instructions about what and how much soap to add to the dispenser might resolve this. There is no adjustment for the rinse nozzle so it sprays a basic hose spray. A broader spray pattern would be more useful. It works but I'll [robably not use it again. ... show more
