Easy to use by itself as a Quick Detailer, Clay Lube, or Drying Aid. I'm not sure how much actual SI02 is being laid down, but the surface is left very slick with very tight water beads. I applied to my RAV4 3 weeks ago and after an 800 mile round trip my beads are still tight, but I suspect the life can be measured in weeks rather than months. I recently did a "self applied ceramic coat" on my pickup. Yes, I KNOW the amateur applications are not as hard and durable as the expensive professional applications...please spare the howling criticism. I have a couple of vehicles professionally ceramic finished and I can clearly see the difference. And also know the cost. ANYWAY, I bought a bottle of Griots Ceramic Speed Shine to use on my application. It does bring out the shine and leaves that smooth, velvety touch which can best be felt when passing the BACK of your hand over the surface. Griots products are pricey. No question about that. After washing I applied this Ceramic Speed Shine with a micro fiber wrapped sponge and I found out just how much dirt was still left behind on the paint~! Wow this is really a great after wash detail product. It really gets the deep dirt off. The shine it leaves is really good as well. I will be using Griots Garage Ceramic Speed shine after washing from now on. I have the Griots Three in One Ceramic Wax and this will make it pop in between treatments. I don't think I would use it as a dry wash because I don't like rubbing dust and dirt into my paint but on a "mostly clean" car that is where I will make use of the Ceramic Speed Shine~! ... show more
