Was a bit skeptical of how this costume would turn out given it was right around $20 and came with accessories. Honestly blown away at well this costume is made. We’ve had it for 5 days now and my son has worn it everyday and played with scythe- so far so good! The glowing eyes are cool and I love that they sit just below your eyes. He says the mask is very breathable. My son is 8 yrs old, 5’1 and 85lbs- I bought the xl and it fits perfect, a little long but will be just right with his boots on. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This was a cute little costume and my son loved it. I feel that the quality was good for the price, but it was missing the handle part of the scythe which was both disappointing and frustrating 😒. However, we made it work, and crafted him a makeshift staff to attach the scythe to. The gloves do not have skeleton hands printed on them like it shows in the photos and on the packaging 🤷🏻♀️. They are just plain black, but whatever I guess. The light-up red eye glasses were a bit disappointing as well. They weren’t comfortable to wear and fell off his face continually. They also have only one setting where it slowly fades on and then slowly fades off. There is no setting to just have them turned on. It’s kind of strange and my son was not impressed lol. I also think that people who have posted that they broke almost immediately may have just not realized they work this way. I actually thought they were broke at first too lol. I turned them on and they almost immediately dimmed out and I was like ‘you’ve got to be kidding me 🤦🏻♀️’. They faded back on just as I was about to fiddle with the wiring lol and then it still took me a second to realize! I was like ‘oh good they’re working again’ and then boom they faded back out and I was like ‘What the he, ahhh ok I see now’, lol. However, this realization sadly did not lessen the disappointment much, if that’s any indicator of just how poor these glasses quality, practicality, and functionality are lol. This arrived just in time for a Truck or Treat in a couple days and also Halloween next week. Great costume!! Fits perfect! My son is 9 years old. I was worried it might be too small. Not at all. I bought this for my 8 year old. It fit well and he liked it. Unfortunately the scythe didn't last more than 30 minutes before it got snapped in half, it's hollow plastic so it's not very strong. The costume was cool, but there are definitely better quality options out there.

It came missing the scythe blade, gray fabric, and chain. So it looks like a ninja costume with red eyes. Would have been nice to get all the pieces I paid for. 🙄
