    • Makes it easy to give my cat his medicine
My cat is difficult when it comes to medicine, I tried crushing it into his wet food, opening his mouth and feeding it to him, and even hiding it among dry food. But he could smell or taste the medicine hidden in all the treats. These pill pockets make it so easy to hide the pill and he seems to really enjoy eating them. The only thing I’d like to highlight if you’re unfamiliar with the product as I was is these treats are like playdough or clay in the sense that they’re malleable and you put the pill in the pocket and mold it around the pill. Makes it easy to hide pills of all sizes but also you should be careful where you store them because they can get crushed or smushed easily. ... show more

I tear them in half, pinch them flat, and wrap 2 pills. If your cat doesn’t chew, these are a near foolproof method for pill delivery. Especially if someone else is watching your pill dependent, hyper food motivated, medication avoidant animal. Have a cat with cardiomyopathy who needs medication daily. The medication he is on is extremely bitter tasting. Can’t guarantee he’ll eat all his food if crushed in his food and I have another cat who doesn’t need the med. So I turned to pill pockets. He’s still not thrilled about being pilled and always has a lot to say about it but I think he secretly likes the after taste with the pill pocket. My elderly cat has hyperthyroidism and needs pills twice a day. He gladly eats his pills with these pill pockets. Plus, his pills are very tiny and I only need to use a half of a pill pocket for each dose. They easily separate and still stay wrapped around the pill. My cat needs to take a b12 vitamin every day and he hates having to chew it, or at least he did. I put that vitamin in the pocket, mold it so he can’t see it( he saw the blue one time and wouldn’t touch it) and bam he gobbles it down

My cat is picky. Now that she's older she has to take medication daily. It started as a struggle. My cat would fight me as I tried to give her her medication. Then I found these pill pockets.
