Privacy/Hide it screen vine review. Brand: GREENER. For Vine reviews, we are supposed to tell you what’s important. 👉 What’s important with this screen is that I purchased another one shortly after assembling this one. ‘nuff said? It’s a very nice look, I’m sure the BRUTAL summer sun where the condenser unit sits will wash out this wood color, but that will probably be a good look for our brick, if it washes out uniformly. That side of the house, with our water restrictions, means Death Valley dry. The condenser unit has a thermometer of it’s own, and in the morning summer sun, it can report 105 degrees, when at the exact same time the thermometer in the shade on the north side of the house is still in the 80’s. I don’t have any particular tips and tricks for the assembly except maybe don’t connect the top half with the bottom half until the slats are and flat on pavement side by side. Note that the bolts are two lengths and where the long ones go! As for the slats, just start at the “6” end, then slowly add one plank at a time until you get to the “7”. And of course don’t over-tighten and strip the threads. Cons - It’s a little disconcerting to have the whole thing assembled, stand it up, and then feel like the middle of both bars can slip a bit outward from each other so much that those slats can fall out! If I was doing only one panel, I might create a locking slat on the back side to hold that together. But I’m looking at creating a right angle with two pieces, then hoping to find bolts that can go through existing holes and bolt them together. Very happy with the product. I ultimately did get this assembled and installed and it looks nice. Not sure how long lasting it will be because the wood seems pretty fragile. Our first challenge came when it was time to join the legs middles to each other. there are supposed to be holes in both sides of the area where they join. On side's holes on each side post was fine, but the other side on 3 of the 4 were not fully cut through and removed. See picture. They were scored, but we ultimately had to push them through ourselves to continue with the build using a hammer and flat head screwdriver to pound out the most cut through "chad". The next issue we found is that we only had 3 instead of 4 screws to hold the spike part that goes into the ground. We were able to find a screw that worked from our box of random screws we've collected over the last 40 years. After resolving those issues and getting it built and installed it's Ok and does what it is intended to do, but in my opinion it is fairly overpriced for what you get and the quality. ... show more

This GREENER Privacy Screen is good quality and pretty easy to install depending on ground hardness. The assembly is tedious due to each slat having to be inserted into the rail on the opposite side and pushed together as they are seated. It's a good height and provides privacy. It's good quality, it's easy to assemble, and it can be assembled in about 30 minutes by one person. Can cover a large area, the color is also very nice.
