    • Good quality, gender neutral toy
We've only had this a couple of days, but we own tons of Green Toys brand toys and I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed with this. It's adorable. It's small enough that my toddlers can hold it and carry it around by the handle. It's perfectly gender neutral which I always appreciate. It comes with the cutest little car that fits the two little mice (only one at a time) and the furniture is all white and excellent quality. There isn't a ton of furniture pieces which is great because the kids really don't care about most of it. They love the tub. The tub has holes at the bottom (very small ones) so that sneaky tots who try to fill it up cannot succeed in leaving puddles on the floor. Ha! It's a really great low profile addition to our play room. Important to note: I have four children and run a small in home daycare so I only gravitate towards brands and toys that will last.     • What to do about wheels that won't turn
Love the car that comes with the house. Bought six for grandchildren, both separate red one and yellow & blue ones that come with houses. Except for one, every car had at least one wheel that didn't want to turn. Whoever was on the assembly lines didn't trim off the excess plastic when the wheels came out of the mold. All you have to do is get a tool with a small point and stick it between the inside of wheel and the axle and wiggle it around until it's loosened enough for the wheel to spin freely. The plastic is soft, so when I used an Xacto knife on the first one I scarred up the hub & inside of wheel. A rounded point, like a large needle works better. It doesn't take much work -- just push the bit that should've been trimmed off away from the hub so it's not rubbing on the wheel. Just wish the house had a couple of more rooms, and that it came with a sink & toilet for the bathroom and a stove, fridge, sink for a kitchen, and a couch, easy chair & table for the living room. ... show more

    • ... how incredible these toys are and how much I love this company
I cannot say enough about how incredible these toys are and how much I love this company! I've been buying those toys for years and have always taken good care of them, but for the first time we lost a piece. I asked green toys customer service if I could buy a replacement and instead they offered to replace it for free. It made my three year old cry with joy! I love how extremely sturdy these toys are, they are played with in the water, sand, dirt, and taken everywhere. Easy to clean and will outlast most other toys. I hope to keep handing these toys down for generations to come! This doll house is the best so far! Plenty of play space and adorable furniture and car. The stair design is the only drawback because it falls off easy, so we easily found a solution by using those new velcro like strips you buy at home depot. Now it sticks on easy with no problem. My child didn't like that the car only fits one mouse, but we fixed that by just pulling out a green toys car from another set. It keeps my 3 and 6 year old occupied for hours now.     • Great quality, beautiful architecture!
This small dollhouse was our first Green Toys purchase for our then 1-year-old daughter. The quality is so great and there's just enough to keep her interested yet not over-stimulated. I'm an architectural historian and I LOVE how beautiful this house is as a mini Craftsman style replica. No other dollhouse compares on the aesthetics, IMHO :D The house is very sturdy and has held up to her climbing and standing on it, picking it up and "setting" it down in um, not a gentle manner.     • Green Playsets Always a Hit with Our Toddler
Like - I presume - everyone else, we have toys in our home that barely got any attention regardless of their features, beauty, etc. For some reason, Green Toy playsets are always a huge hit with our (now) 20-month-old. The barn has seen endless hours of play, and now this house elicits the same amount of attention. She doesn't play with anything as much as the Green Toys barn and house. (We have animals from Lakeshorelearning that she puts inside and outside of the barn.) That said, we hate that the stairs aren't attached to the house, and that the figurines you get with these toys look really disappointing (same color, unflattering design). But five stars are more than deserved because our toddler finds all of it great. ... show more

Both my two-year-old and 11-year-old love playing with this house! I like the size and the design, the details, all the little special touches such as the door mat, bay window, and the light over the carport. It is a beautiful little house, one I won't have to say no to if they ask to play with it outside! The only thing is, a few more accessories would be nice. There are two mice, so two beds would've been nice, as well as a toilet and maybe a pedestal sink to reinforce the importance of washing hands -- there would be room for them even with a second bed. A kitchenette sort of piece would be nice, too -- a stove and fridge, maybe with a kitchen sink (single-basin would be fine) with cabinet under, so the mice can "cook" or grab snacks to eat at the table. ... show more

    • Finally a gender-neutral doll house!
This is a great little doll house! Like all of the other Green Toys that I have purchased for my son this house is solid- well built and durable! I love that it is blue and comes with a little car. My son loves to play with toys like this, but I had a hard time finding a house that wasn't pink and purple and clearly "girly". I have no problem with him having pink or purple toys, but this appeals to him more. I also like that it is on the smaller side because we have limited space.
