Holds my skis perfectly, displays them really nicely, secure grip without a second thought. Really happy with how the hold, and I like the included pole mounts on either side. There's also a spot to hook a bungee if you want extra stability, but I don't see why you would need any extra grip; they recommend using a ski strap above the grabbers like I pictured, but I've used them without it and they work just as well, no difference noticed. Huge fan of these on my skis and will definitely be getting more for the rest. For snowboards, it's also a great product, I really like how it's displayed visually. However, practically it sticks a bit off the wall, so prepare for that and make adequate space to walk around or hang it over dead ground space. Also, the bottom of the board pivots naturally due to the weight and will be pressed against the wall, this isn't much of an issue, but it doesn't look as good as the skis do. I love the look of it practically floating, I currently mount my boards horizontally on my wall and probably will continue to do that for practical reasons, but I would definitely grab more of these for my boards if I had a garage or a space above some sort of stand. They work exactly as advertised. I now no longer store skis in the rafters of the garage, I store them on the wall with their poles. Easy install, all parts included. Would love for them to make a similar product for fishing rods.
