The "Mighty Walker" is the best athletic shoe in the market. I have tried them all as I navigate through many high priced shoes to find the best for exercise. I wanted support and comfort for my problem: Pain all over during exercise. I discovered these as I found a magazine ad from Auto Club / Westways. I ordered one and then all the colors that they have. These shoes have saved me from a grueling experience with painful feet. We all need to exercise and these shoes will make this challenge a joyful experience. Sizing: I wear size 7. My feet swell, so I order a whole size bigger: Size 8. With socks, it's a perfect fit. I believe that Amazon customers returned shoes because they weren't the right size. These shoes require a perfect fit for them to do the job. I believe they have a chart that includes European sizes, so the manufacturer took into account global customers. All we have to do is choose the right one. Try ordering up one size. When I walk in these shoes, my back pain is null. Great fit, weight, and support! The only issue is the peeling on the front and sides of shoe. I’ve had them a little less than a month and they are peeling. You can see in the image.

I normally wear Hoka or Brooks. I ordered these shoes as I was starting to have some foot pain ( especially in the Achilles area) and tiredness. Not being familiar with this particular brand I was understandably cautious about wearing them out of the house and not being able to return. Initially I was thinking they resembled hiking boots as opposed to walking shoes. I replaced the laces with solid black to give a more sleek appearance. Like the look better. I wore them in the house a few days before deciding to keep them. They are quite different feeling at first with the heel but after a bit not noticeable. I wore them to work and after a full day of up and down and the grocery shopping I did not even want to take them off when I got home. The real test was last night in the pit at a Creed concert. I am mid fifties and was quite concerned about being on my feet for several hours. Not once did my feet hurt last night and this morning no pain or tiredness at all. I am sold. This will not not be my last pair of G defy shoes. I feel that you will have nothing but comfortable days and nights wearing these shoes. Try them! ... show more

These shoes are fantastic and are worth the price. They fit my feet perfectly, and they come with multiple insoles; one is very thin and designed to take away space if they're a little too large, and one is an orthotic insole for arch support and plantar fasciitis. I have plantar fasciitis and heel spurs, and its not aggravated at all. I've been wearing them everywhere for about two weeks, and my soles don't go numb like they did with other shoes and my feet dont ache at the end of the day. I also stumbled a lot in my old tennis, and had repeated twisted ankles. I went for a light jog in these, and I didn't stumble and I haven't twisted my ankles.     • I fell in love with them but two months in they are making a popping sound in one heal.

I absolutely loved these shoes so much I bought my mom a pair last month. I walk an average of 30 miles a week and theses shoes made my sciatic pain go away!! I have had them two months to the day now and the right heal is making a popping sound like it is separated. I never spend this much on shoes and I was almost a loyal customer until today. This shoe didn’t fit even though I ordered an extra wide & 1/2 size larger BUT it is an awesome looking shoe. I was sad and disappointed that it was too tight in trying to get my foot in and finally after doing so, it was too tight but long. I have a hammer toe with my toes arching a bit to the side so it’s very hard to find fitting shoes along with having neuropathy on my feet.
