These were much nicer than I thought they would be. I was afraid the grass like material would be too rough and plastic feeling but they are really soft with a fabric like material on the bottom. They are a good size slightly larger than my nesting boxes, however I like that it fit slightly up the wall as it helps with drafts. Swapped to these from pine shavings in the coop due to my ladies making a huge mess in nesting boxes. These have been a lifesaver and a huge help with cleaning. They easily can be cut to size to ensure correct fit in the nesting boxes and allow for rapid and fast cleaning. Simply take them out, shake and return. If they are extremely soiled, simply take inside, wash with warm water and that's it. I've had them in my coop for about two months and they are going strong. Made durable to withstand the ladies scratching at the to snuggle on. Theyre soft so the ladies don't feel uncomfortable when sitting on them.
