I have white grout and I always had trouble getting and keeping it clean! I have used the home remedy of baking soda/vinegar and dish soap but this product is 10x better and faster! Makes doing a tough job easy. Apply the product, let it soak a few minutes, lightly brush a few times, rinse, and done. Sure beats the vinegar/baking soda routine.

This worked as well as any other grout cleaning product I’ve used and it was easy to apply. For small areas (e.g., a small shower stall), the brush that came with the cleaner worked fine. I’m not sure it would be the right solution for a larger area. I initially sprayed it on dry grout so I could easily see a couple of areas I wanted to focus on. It definitely works better on wet grout. I reduced the stars for two reasons: 1. It’s pretty much on par with other cleaners I’ve used, and, 2. I didn’t realize the bottle had a crack in it. When I received a shipment of multiple Granite Gold products, the box was wet. I couldn’t find the source of a leak and assumed it wasn’t the cleaner since it was wrapped in plastic. It was also snowing when I received it so I attributed the wetness to the weather. When I removed the plastic wrap, the bottle was a little wet but I couldn’t find a leak. I attributed it to “sweating” when I brought the bottle into a warm house from the cold. Unfortunately there was a leak, which resulted in a stain the shape of the bottom of the bottle on one of the tiles of the bathroom floor. I’ll keep trying to remove it but so far no luck.     • Got my grout clean with not much effort.

This worked great on my grout. I sprayed the grout with it and left it on there for a few minutes and dipped the brush in a little bucket of hot water and scrubbed the grout. And it came perfectly clean. It comes with the brush too. I would buy it again if needed.

I started my marble floor grout cleaning project using a few drops of Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap. It worked well, but I thought I'd try a more task-specific product. I picked Granite Gold Grout Cleaner on the strength of the reviews. It didn't hurt that the product was reasonably priced. and came with a decent grout scrubbing brush as well. It arrived great, and I put on rubber gloves and started on the task. By the time I'd scrubbed 4 squares worth of grout, my spouse was complaining about how strong it was, and I realized that my lungs were getting irritated with the strong fumes as well. I stopped what I was doing, sponged up the remaining (and now dirty) liquid. Yes, the product cleaned fine. But even side by side, it really wasn't any cleaner than the more gentle Dr. Bronner's liquid soap. The main difference was that my lungs are still irritated from the Granite Gold Grout Cleaner 5 hours later. I'm glad I stopped when I did. So yes, the product cleans, but you better have full ventilation to keep from burning out your lungs. The only thing I'll use again of this purchase will be the free brush that came with the bottle. Cleaning the tile grout in the trailer I rent, the right is where I used the spray. The only think I don’t like is it can be blotchy but if you scrub in a direct line with the grout it’s not as bad. I would purchase again.
