This product is seriously amazing.. I tried 3 other wallpapers before coming across this one. It is so thick and has a great texture to it. Perfect wallpaper to hide textured walls. Super easy to put it on. Definitely recommend pre-measuring everything before getting it wet. Also - I didn’t fully submerge the wallpaper because I didn’t have a container big enough. I just used my sprayer and fully soaked it and that seemed to work great. Trimming the bottom is a bit difficult (again, I would fully measure and cut to length before getting it wet). Overall 10/10. I had never hung wallpaper before, but this went up pretty easily. Some reviews said there isn't enough adhesive on the back, and I didn't find that to be the case at all. If anything, I thought there was a bit too much because a lot of it gooped out as I was spreading it on the wall. You just need to follow the directions and wet it well and then let it sit for 5 minutes for the glue to properly activate. The paper did go up easily and the glue was not so sticky that I couldn't adjust the pieces as needed. Overall, I am very pleased with this, and I think it turned out very nice. My only complaint is that it doesn't cut well once it is wet. I had to precut the pieces to the exact size I wanted because if I waited to trim it when it is on the wall like one generally does when hanging wallpaper, it always came out jagged and did not have any crisp cuts even with new blades on my cutter. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the product and it looks very much like actual beadboard. ... show more

So, let me start out by saying I would have given this a full 5 stars if it was easy to trim. Before you ever put it up MAKE ALL YOUR CUTS! Once it’s up, it will rip if you try to cut it no matter how new or sharp your razor is. Other than it’s super thick, covers any unwanted places. I was so impressed by this product. It does take some time to get to know how to use it but I am very happy with how we could refresh our bathroom quickly. We used high moisture guard paint over the top and will see how it holds up. Only complaint I have is it does knick easily-not sure how that will hold up with my kids. I was going to use in my nursery too but due to its fragility I may use a different product. I will be removing popcorn ceiling in my laundry room and putting it up on the ceiling too. ... show more

affordable alternative, more DIY friendly in my opinion, easy to use & the roll goes a long way!!! With one roll i did my kitchen bar & guest bath (both very long sections) have purchased 2 times now, most recently did my sons room . will caution you to be gentle with it when it’s wet, can rip very easily. i do have textured walls as well but this has not effected the look or the ease of use. ... show more

After much cursing at the wall, because I’m No wallpaper professional, I managed to wallpaper my little foyer. A lot of people suggested to dip it a water bath for only a few minutes. I still found the wallpaper to be very flimsy. I actually used a small foam roller to apply water on the back of the paper, and let it lay out sticky side up for a few minutes before applying. This seemed to reduce bubbles and made it easier to apply to the wall. Don’t paint for at least 24 hours after! ... show more

Thick wallpaper that looks great when dry, even over textured walls. Very quickly wet it, don’t soak or it will rip and tear. Avoid Semi gloss paint as it remains sticky and tacky to the touch, no matter how many days you let it dry. Eggshell paint dried nicely though.

As other reviewers stated, do not attempt to cut while wet, it will just tear. As you can see from pix, I cut longer than needed, waited two days, then cut with box cutter, while holding down paper right above where cutting. Hardest part was to cut around the island braces/brackets, whatever they are called. I filled my tub with some water, submerged the cut piece, folded into itself, then waited 5 minutes to apply and used wallpaper scraper thing to get air bubbles out, and all the extra glue oozed out. I did use gorilla glue on an edge that just didn’t lay right (completely flat). After hanging the paper, I waited two days then primed and painted. Hated the first color, then painted over black. Did one more coat of black (not pix) and looks great. Very happy, looks like real bead board. Can’t comment on durability since I just put up. ... show more
