We purchased the plastic approx. 30-inch bat and 'wiffle-type' ball on Amazon as one of the family gifts for our son's birthday to use with his 3 year-old daughter to develop hand-eye coordination and just have family fun. It is lightweight, colorful, and appears safe to use for age-appropriateness. Our son has yet to use the set much with the granddaughter, so we don't know how it will hold up. but we hope our son let's HER do the batting so it lasts! We likewise hope this purchase and review meet GoSports' qualifications for GoSports to donate a sports basketball, soccer ball, or other suitable sports ball to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. We have one such club center in our Fayetteville, AR area that services perhaps thousands of children and youth in organized and individual sports programs availability year-round.
