Initially, while the item was still in the bag, the color of the felt looked like terry cloth but once I had it on it was perfect. The loop in the front of the hood helps the piece stay in place. Great buy!

My original hood was running late on being delivered from the company Herff Jones. I got this so I could walk the ceremony with something on. Showed up to the venue and the colors were very close to the green and yellow. The material was cheaper but from a distance that didn’t matter.

The colors are shiny and very nice, but they did a hack job on the sewing finishing touches. It will do, I'll just have to fix it myself so it doesn't continue to unravel.
