A very nicely constructed and lined coat with a great vintage vibe. I bought the wine colored coat so that the coat would have an older more vintage look. The material has the general feel of wool without the heavily feeling of wool. The coat does not appear to need dry cleaning. Nice and warm over a dress for a feminine and pretty look. I got compliments as soon as I wore it out shopping. I am 5 foot 3 inches and weigh 120 pounds and the small fit me perfectly. It falls to about mid knee on me but I am longer legged for a petite woman. I did not think that the buttons were cheap looking as other buyers reported, but if you disagreed, it would be easy enough to replace the buttons. The buttons are a brighter gold color and possibly a more dulled down vintage metal buttons would add to the vintage vibe . If I found a set of vintage buttons I might replace the buttons but the coat is nice as is. . The coat was delivered on time, there were no unusual smells. I was a little worried when I first got the coat because I was hoping it would be heavier than it is, but I was pleasantly surprised how warm it kept me when I wore it. I have a 15 minute walk from my parking lot to my office and it kept me warm when it was 40 degrees and windy. I haven't put it through "hard" wear like wearing it all day multiple days in a row, but I'm happy with the quality for the price. I am planning to change out the buttons, though - they look okay but feel cheap when I use them and I want something more understated than the gold chrome. I'm 5'9", 155lbs, typically wear US womens size 8 and I purchased a Medium. There's enough space in the coat that I can wear it on top of a thick sweater or a blouse + cardigan combo. Overall happy with the fit, although I wish the sleeves were just an inch or two longer. ... show more

I went according to the measurements but there are some issues. I am 5'5" 44C 195lbs. I'm going with the 1st important thing... the sleeves come all of the way down to the tips of my fingers. 2nd it was a bit loose. I'm afraid of I return it and order the next size down it will be too tight. So I have decided to take it to a tailor and have those issues taken care of. 3rd which is not a major problem are lose. They will be easy to fix. Now, outside of all of that, the coat is medium weight but nice and warm. I like the pockets. Love the color which is totally accurate. It's very flattering. It's a very reasonable price but that's not what I look for anyway. So take that all into account when ordering it. I personally don't mind too much of the issues. It was suggested I get a medium. I did. The pleats did not lay properly for this booty. It’s a great coat. Nice weight. Good quality. Classy. I would change the buttons. They are cheap and unattractive. I typically wear a large and that’s what I needed. The suggested size was inaccurate.

I read the reviews before buying and I agree with most of them This coat does run small and the buttons are not sewn down well. I wish I had paid more attention to the fact that there were no pockets, but the material is a nice soft material. I believe it's going to be heavy enough to keep my daughter warm but not too heavy to wear she'll never want to wear it. The red color is immaculate and just as vibrant as seen in the picture and the pleading detail is very cute. ... show more

While I definitely agree with a lot of reviews that the buttons are a bit cheap, and I might reenforce them with a few extra stitches, the overall look and feel of this coat still keeps it as an easy five stars! I personally sized down, I usually go with a medium to be safe since I have a bigger chest (34 DD or 32 DDD), but I'm glad I read the reviews and sized down to a small! I'm 5'3 and about 140 lbs and it's still roomy enough to easily fit a thick sweater or something underneath :) So excited for the weather to get cooler so I can wear it all the time! ... show more

The coat is a Beautiful failure. This is the third time I am sending this coat back. I will not be re-ordering. The first one I got in many blue. I believe it was a size large and it fit beautifully for the fall weather. But for some reason that shade of blue was so hard to match with accessories. I was going to keep it regardless, but the lining in the left sleeve was torn. I decided to send it back and get the same coat in black instead. I couldn’t remember if I order a large or an extra large so I looked at my previous purchase order online. It did not tell me what size it was so I got an extra large to be safe if i wear it with sweaters in the winter.. It was extremely large and far off my shoulders, so I had to send it back. I ordered for the third time a black size large. This is way too small, I could not button it. It was too tight across the shoulders. I really wish whatever size I had in the blue version of this coat would fit the same in the black version. So neither the large or the extra large fit. But the blue version fit perfectly???? that’s crazy!. Another downfall after the pockets. They are uncomfortably high and are hard to find. Last but not least, on this particular coat, the buttonholes are missing! I only had one buttonhole for the middle button. It’s a double breast parka with three mock buttons. As for the other three buttons there are no holes for it. The other two coats that I purchased previous were able to button just fine. I am not going to try it again , the coat is beautiful, but it’s a failure. ... show more
