I bought this dress for New Year’s Eve along with two other dresses all made by Grace Karen. I really liked this dress, it fit a little bit tighter in the top than the other two dresses; I ordered all size small. The spaghetti straps are adjustable. The top came up higher than expected so in that respect it is a little bit more conservative on the top covering your cleavage. The skirt is a little bit shorter than expected, and where the slit is, you have to be careful sitting down. You can wear a regular bra with this dress, but it is spaghetti straps so they will show. This dress is so flattering. I'm 5'2, 153 lbs. and 36C and the M was perfect. I still had a little room, so I would say it fits pretty true to size. The front detail is so slimming. Great party dress to where, and hides the belly pooch if you are one to indulge in extra appetizers at parties. Highly recommend! I'll be wearing it again in the future. Also - to wash, make sure you stick it in it's own mesh bag on a low cycle if you wash with other items, just to make sure it's washed delicately due to the sequins ... show more

I absolutely recommend this dress. If you're on a budget and don't want to compromise looks this is the dress. It's perfect for formal events, holiday parties, gala's and special events. It fits perfect and camouflaged my mid section. Not form fitting and true to size. I ordered a 2X and it fit perfect. Surprised at how well it fit. Ordered XL in green/purple. I am 5ft3 and 160. Busty and barrel chest but no hips so needed design to be free. Thin elastic straps bra like and fully adjustable. A Single baste stitch holds top center together so if you don't like where it lands you can stich it up or down to change how it fits. I am short torso so the higher waist band looked good for me but I can see this would be awkward for long torso. Gather to the side is very flattering for tummy. Length hits just above my knees. Sequins are small vertical rows stitched on a poly net backing. Lays over black poly dress liner. Nothing to keep sequins from rubbing soft underside of arm. Hand wash and lay flat to dry. A simple very effective cocktail dress, easily packable but not indestructible and overall comfortable if you can tolerate the sharp under arm. Color in full sun is bright violet purple. Interior lighting reflects the green blues better. Very satisfied with dress. ... show more

I listened to the reviews to size down because ira super stretchy and boy are they wrong !! Do not size down get your original size. I’m a L, got a M and it fit super tight. On top of that the dress arrived smelling like string perfume as if someone tried it on and returned it and I got that returned item. It’s disgusting.
