I'm 5'5 and 145 lbs, ordered a Medium and I absolutely LOVE this dress!! It's lightweight and so flowy and beautiful in a breeze! It does not wrinkle easily. I have not tried to wash the dress yet but I imagine it will hold up fine. It seems to be very well made. The dress is pretty enough to wear out some place nice, I wore it to my son's graduation ceremony, but can also be worn casually with a pair of sandals, which is what I did afterwards for the graduation party! It was a 90 degree plus day and I was comfortable in the dress for the entire day. It was comfortable indoors during the ceremony with AC, and lightweight and flowy enough afterwards for the party. The dress is not see through at all, which is amazing!! The straps were comfortable all day. I had no issues with them slipping at all, rubbing or being uncomfortable in any way. It's very lovely. The seams are clean, no loose threads. The fabric has some weight to it, there is a sewn in slip underneath. It's heavy enough that any old silly breeze that comes along doesn't give us all a Marilyn scene, but light enough it doesn't get hot. It has beautiful movement to it, the skirt swings beautifully as you move, it feels very feminine. The elastic top makes it so it will fit a wide range of bust sizes. I do recommend if you are larger up top (I am a 38e) that you wear a bra that side shapes, has good separation, and projects more or it will make your bust look wider and flatter, but that's true with all 'tops' made like this - you'll get the uni-boob look without the right bra. I bought this to wear with a dark jean jacket and 'riding' boots when the weather cools off here (still in the 90s) but it's also great to wear with brown sandals and throw a light weight denim shirt (unbuttoned) over it for these cool mornings and summer-like afternoons - b/c I can peel that top off when my office gets hot. I think I can get three seasons, with some wear on the warmer winter days, out of this one dress. EDIT: I've worn this dress twice and thought, man if the straps were just a little shorter... Dummy me. There is A BUTTON AND A SET OF THREE BUTTON HOLES for each strap in back! It's details like this that make me really love this dress. It was worth it! ... show more

Soft & pretty, very flowy. I'm 5'5", & it goes approx. to my ankles. For reference: I'm 36C, 165 lbs, 32" waist, & 44" hips, approx. This fit well, & also, you can make the shoulder straps shorter, with the buttons on the shoulder straps. I have the pink/white floral, the blue/white, the red/white & the green w/the long green leaves on it. All nice; but th blue/white, red/white, & green/white, are my favorites, but they're all nice feeling, & so soft on the skin! Have a great day. ... show more

I originally ordered this dress in the yellow floral color, size M. I loved the fabric, but the color didn’t suit me like I thought it would, and I found it to be just a tad bigger on me than I expected (even with me being pregnant). I then ordered the purple color, size S. I LOVE this dress!! This is probably one of the best made dresses I’ve come across on Amazon for the price they sell it at. The fabric looks very nice, and didn’t even look wrinkly when I first received the package. It’s got an under layer for the skirt, but still feels lightweight. One of my favorite parts is that there are buttons on the straps with three different lengths that you can adjust it to, so it’s very versatile for each body type. I think the dress lays well, and doesn’t make my frame look frumpy with the pregnancy belly I have. It’s very comfortable and breathable. My only “complaint” would be that the chest area sits a little higher than I want, but it’s still flattering. And I’d rather it come up a bit too high than sit too low. Overall, great dress! I’ll definitely look to this brand the next time I’m in need of a dress. ... show more

For reference, I purchased a size Small and I am 5'7, 145lbs with a DD cup. I bought this the day before a beach wedding and was so happy with how it fit! It is such a beatiful dress! It doesn't matter what time of the month it is, the dress will still flatter you and highlight your figure. It's light-weight and flowy. The straps have multiple button slots on the back so you can make them shorter or longer. The top is stretchy to accomodate different bust sizes. The fabric is cool to the touch and not transparent. It's versatile and can be worn to something as fancy as a beach wedding like how I used it or even just for a nice lunch. I am probably going to buy a couple more in other colors. ... show more

I am 5'7", 145 lbs with a 34F chest size. I wanted to love this dress, but it really accentuated my upper assets which I usually try to downplay. It also came up a little too high in front. I tried lengthening the straps to pull it down a little but it didn't help. But I do give points for the fact that the straps are adjustable with three different button positions. The dress lining is also very nice. So there are positives to this but it just was not flattering for my body. I have a flat stomach and good waistline, so if the smocking came down a little lower in the waist it would probably would have helped with the shape of the dress. But all of the smocking (on me) hits the chest. If you have a smaller bust you might like it. ... show more

This dress is so cute. I did order the pink flower pattern, and it is BRIGHT, maybe too much for me. I still gave it 5 stars because it fit perfect. The straps are in the right place to cover bra straps. I love the skirt, plenty of material to swirl a bit when you walk, and it is so soft. Very comfortable for end of the day comfy wear in the summer or with a sweater it would work for church or going out. Would definitely recommend. 5'7", 155 and I ordered the large. ... show more
