I had this device for a month now and so far it has been good. I have been playing with it alot and I have been putting through the paces. I think the real test will be the test of time. I read a couple of reviews and one says that in 6 months the machine was dead, so I will wait till I have it for a year to give a better review or an update. ... show more

I installed MS office, Steam, and the Xbox app. Some games would run great COD MW3, some would crash GTA V and cause the system to reboot... Sometimes the audio would crackle. Trust me I wanted to love this thing. It was what I thought perfect in everyway if it would have worked better. I didn't like that it had some strange software installed. Nefarious or something it was called. I have built and installed PC and OS in the past many times. Something was strange with this device. I would def recommend a format and fresh install. The comfort something I also wanted to like very bad but unfortunately this thing when compared to say the lenovo legion go is very uncomfortable to use after a short period of time. Also trying to game on this screen vs the legion go was unpleasant. I lost money on the return because of the ancillary purchases I made to fit this device. Memory cards, and battery pack, case etc... I watched every youtube video I could find, and not one really indicated this type of experience. Luckily Amazon has a good return policy. Maybe in the future the drivers will get better....maybe that and a good skin that gives it some better ergonomics. 1400 is too much to pay for something that has crackling sound and iffy performance depending on the game. ... show more

You’d figure since you’re paying more for quicker shipping in the country you live in, that the product would be in English as well. I wasn’t too thrilled having to go onto GPD’s website to get the correct software in order to have windows in English. Luckily it flashed without having any issues, but I guess that’s what happens when you order a device with no reviews. Tread lightly on this one! ... show more

Received the handheld on time, install was clean (received english format), and it runs everything smoothly; both Steam and Xbox installs. After several uses so far everything has held together well and has had 0 issues.
