  • Great Tele saddles, no mfg packaging, just plastic bag.
Great brass compensated tuners. There is a reason they cost 3x $$ of generic compensated tuners. These tuners are among the best you can find. The intonation accuracy and improvement on my Tele was obvious and remarkable. Intonation is important. These Gotoh tuners are a valuable investment into your sound and tone. But the complete lack of installation instructions led to incorrect installation. I 'found out' that they are not all three saddles machined the same. The string groves are cut for each string specifically. You have to flip one of the saddles, put the screw back into the saddle in the other direction and the install between the other 2 saddles. Directions would have illustrated this idea. There was no manufacturer packaging or any indication of who the manufacturer actually is - these could have been manufactured by anybody. The items I received are very high quality and appear to be genuine gotoh items, despite the absence of manufacturer packaging. I am suspicious of nonfactory packaging, especially when paying top dollar for a top end product from a prestigious manufacturer like Gotoh. ... show more

  • Excellent product
I like the brass saddles’ tone, and the compensation made a very noticeable improvement in ease of setup and intonation. Direct drop in replacement. Good price.

  • Work Pretty Well
I have these on two of my Telecasters and they work pretty well. Definitely an improvement over the stock, uncompensated three-saddle configuration. Tuning gets within maybe 99% or a bit less on one or two of the strings, whereas tuning with the stock saddles is maybe 91% -- just to give an admittedly inaccurate idea of the difference. I don't know from brass or titanium in terms of sound, but brass has been pretty popular over the years. These brass ones sound fine to me. Maybe a fraction better than the plain steel ones. ... show more

  • These work well ang look great
I put these on my Squire 60's Vibe Telecaster. Simple installation. They did in fact improve the intonation (still not absolutely perfect but . . .) as well as adding a cool vintage look to the guitar. I know Fender used a variety of saddles over the years but to me these are the ones that appear to be 'correct'. I think the guitar played and sounded fine (actually great) before I put these on but, overall I like them. They just make it a little bit sweeter to play and they look good. Just make sure that they're oriented right so they perform as intended. The documentation that came with them was a bit sketchy. A YouTube search and info I found at their website cleared things up. Overall a relatively cheap improvement to a Tele. ... show more

  • Great saddles for classic tele vibes
These are high quality saddles that are easy to install and intonate. If you’re looking for brass saddles, these won’t disappoint

  • Intonation and tone improvement
As everyone else has said, quality product and great improvement to intonation. These replaced vintage style steel threaded rod saddles, and they totally eliminated the painful treble bite on the bridge position. With the old steel saddles, turning down the tone to the point it eliminated the treble bite would be too muddy, especially on the neck pickup. Now I can leave the tone pot alone - the nasty treble bite is gone but the sound is still telecaster and clear as a bell. You can even here the difference acoustically. ... show more

  • Quality
Extremely well made and designed. This is the first brass saddle system I've ever used, so I'm still on the fence about if they will remain on the Tele or not. I was hoping they would sound a little warmer/darker. There is definitely a tonal difference between these and the steel threaded saddles. I think I hear the smoother, warmer tone I am seeking, but everyone that has heard them both on the guitar say that the brass is brighter to their ears. Tone is frustratingly slippery like that. I will note that these are much easier to intonate and have that cool, vintage look without the strings shifting around on the traditional smooth saddles. The brass color will change pretty quickly as it interacts with the oils on your hands. I didn't know to expect that, but it makes sense. If you play without ever resting your hand on the bridge, it will be a non-issue. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and value of the product. ... show more
